Hotel Puerta Nazarí is located in Orgiva and looks onto the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It features a restaurant, a terrace and free Wi-Fi. Excelente atendimento por parte do staff, em particular pela proprietária muito atenciosa e dedicada. Um lugar agradável com condições necessárias para o espírito de montanha.
Hotel Mirasol offers impressive views of the Alpujarra Mountains from its setting just 50 metres from the centre of Órgiva. It features accommodation with air conditioning and TVs. Receptionist friendly, helpful. Small family hotel in a Spanish town. I felt welcome, totally at home and safe. No breakfast as it was late season, as it was an overnight stay I was catching a bus and this did not matter. A nice place to stay in Orgiva and suited to overnight stays.
Providing access to the communal terrace and hot tub. El Diamante de Orgiva provides accommodation in Órgiva. Free WiFi is available. Great apartment in a good location for a cycling trip . Denise the host was fantastic , nothing was too much trouble . We will return next year .
Located 34 km from Granada, Casa Tamayo offers accommodation in Orgiva. The unit is 22 km from Sierra Nevada. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The apartment is peaceful, clean, spacious with a secluded roof terrace and close to Orgiva Bus Stop.
Very characterful town because of its alternative community, good healthy food and walks. Unfortunately, the owners of dogs don't clean after themselves and it seems there're quite a lot of them in town.
This small town was an anchor point for us to visit the region. It's great location made it possible for us to see all we wanted to see: Granada, Tabernas, Cabo de Gata, Nerja and many many more. Lots a small villages in the mountain well worth seeing too. Be warned: driving in Orgiva can be tricky, Google maps will take you through very VERY small streets, but as you uget to know your whereabouts you can mostly avoid them. Special note: there's a great organic shop on Av. González Robles, can't remember the name now, but well worth the visit.
Ógiva is easy to navigate, small and everything in easy walking distance. As we have friends in and around Ógiva, plus the walking in and around the area makes it the ideal place for our short breaks.
Not a lot to do in Orgiva but a good base to explore the surrounding White Villages . It was surprisingly quiet which was a bonus plus it has a very rare vegetarian restaurant opposite the main car park. Casa Jazmin is a beautiful Hotel Rural to stay in highly recommend it.
Orgiva is a special place and we are sure to return. The Barak cafe deserves its notoriety as one of the best places to eat in the Alpujarras. By it is the vibe, the mix and the friendliness of the people and the amazing scenery which make it unique.
Diverse, exciting and nothing like tourist trip to a beach resort. Orgiva is an experience apart. It is a working village, peopled by those who want a lifestyle that is an alternative the the capitalist western paradigm. It is not particularly beautiful to the eyes, but it is a place full of spiritual richness. If you are looking for a spiritual experience, you will find it in Orgiva, but it might not turn up in the way you expect. That is the magic of Orgiva and the power of the mountains that surround it. Just take an open heart along with your walking boots. The Sufi run restaurant, Barracka is a great hub in the village and you find people spilling out of it on Wednesdays which is market day. The food is great here, aldo at Pizza and Love. I didn't have a car but got around usung the bus, but there is a great culture of hitch hiking and I never had to wait longer than 20 minutes for a lift. I spent the fortnight walking in the mountains. It was totally sublime and there are plenty of walks from Orgiva or within a bus ride or with a hitch hike. Granada is just an hour away with a good bus service, and the coast is just 35 minutes.

This house is a lovely comfortable place to stay in Órgiva. It has a nice shared rooftop terrace with jacuzzi, a well equipped kitchen, lounge, washing machine and is situated near a super Moroccan restaurant and is close to many others. It’s away from the busy Main Street and a short walk to buses going to Granada, beautiful mountain villages and Almuñécar and along the coast too. You don’t need to walk far to feel as if in remote countryside. The views out are amazing.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The villa is at the outskirts of Orgiva with splendid view on the valley. It is situated in a large olive garden and provides all the necessities for a holiday stay. We liked it very much! Closeness to interesting villages - Capiliera, Lanjaron and ca. 1 hour to the splendid Grenada. We profited as well from walking and hiking tours in the neighbourhood.

A great wee traditional bolt hole in the Alpujarras, perfect for chilling and as a base for exploring the other mountain villages. The house itself is beautiful, very rustic, and quiet - set in the countryside near Orgiva where there are shops for supplies. The shared and private terraces and plunge pool are lovely for relaxing through the day, bbqing and watching the stars at night.
