The people of Pamplona are extremely friendly and helpful. Food is so reasonable and service is excellent! Our accommodation was a little outside the centre, yet we walked home every night, feeling totally safe.
Vibrant small town full of young as well as older people. We stayed two nights. The atmosphere in the evening is very pleasant, food is excellent and people are smiling. Old town as well as the Citadel were our main spots.
Great City. Was crazy-busy with the Old Town heaving on Saturday night. Thousands of people out enjoying a drink in a relaxed manner. Terraces and restaurants full. Important to reserve restaurants ahead. Dont expect precise time-keeping or service to be particularly fast - take the chance to slow down too. Places to see: Old town (Plaza Castilla and surrounding area), Cathedral, Ciudadela, Univesity, city walls. Town is mostly walkable, which is lucky as getting a taxi is a real hassle. Ask your hotel for phone number of decent cab company as most Apps dont work at all - and those that do are patchy. Also, be aware the Old Town is effectively pedestrian.
Running of the Bulls' trail of course. But the shops and restaurants are wonderful too. The large grounds of the fort there and watching the El Camino hikers travel by is at least a days enjoyment. Take time to thoroughly explore the amazing basilicas/churches, which offer beauty , history, architecture and the opportunity to worship.
All fine for a short stay. Only that we had to wait almost half an hour before being able to consume breakfast. The hotel is near a nice park and a half hour walk from the historical city center. We would come back if we would be a next time in Pamplona.
I live here now as a teacher (at least for the next year) and I absolutely love it. It is so beautiful here! It's very easy to get around and I've never lived somewhere where I've felt so safe. I have no issues (as a female) going out for a stroll or a run at night, I feel completely safe, it's a great feeling that I've never had the pleasure of experiencing until moving here. There are SO many beautiful parks and natural beauty here. I live near the ciudadela and parque de media luna and both are amazing to have nearby. Medialuna gives great views of the mountains.
Very very nice and friendly owner and staff! Needed to stay one more night due to I didn’t get the bus ticket to Saint Jean Pied de Port, the staff helped to call a hotel nearby and arrange the accommodation at a price that is lowest I could get at the time (due to they do not have the availability for the night). The owner even called to check the taxi fare to SJPDP on the ride he gave me to that hotel trying to save me some money…
Reception staff were very helpful and friendly and spoke excellent English. Because we had requested a quiet room they offered to upgrade us free of charge to a 2-bed apartment the hotel have 2 minutes' walk from main hotel. Was ideal for us. Location was easy to reach from motorways around Pamplona and the parking garage was a generous size compared with others we used in Spain making it easy to park the car.
Nice modern and small hotel in the commercial area of Pamplona. Easy to get to in a car and approximately 25 minutes’ walk through a nice park and then some wide streets on commercial avenues to get to the old town. Hotel itself was small and very simple with not many facilities (just communal coffee etc facilities) but was perfect for us for an overnight stay. Staff very helpful.
Pamplona
The apartment was super spacious with really nice communal space. Comfy beds, quiet location. 25 min walk from the old town, though we were in the area for a show at the Navarre Arena which is why we took accommodation at that end of town. Bars and restaurants within very close walking distance, as well as a nice big park with a play park for kids.
Pamplona
The hospitalero was wonderful, so kind and generous with his time! The location was also fantastic, located right on the Camino and only a short walk from the cathedral, bustling old town, the walls, the citadel, all you could ask for! The privacy curtains and personal lockers were also a big plus.
Location. For a excellent view from the ramparts of the city just go 100 meters from the hotel. Hotel is in a quiet street and right in the middle of the old town. Staff is very friendly. Good bed, not too soft. Single room had enough space.
Pamplona
Friendly staff, nice clean comfortable room. We used the hostel as a stopover whilst travelling through Spain & France with our children. Did it’s job for our 1 night stay. Easy to find, even the dog was welcome. Close to places to eat.
Great location close to city center. Windows are triple-glazed so it's very quiet inside despite the generally noisy street on saturday evening. The hotel is very small but everything was spotless and the staff were very attentive.
Pamplona
Being in the Old Town was perfect. I appreciated the owner trying to communicate wirh me and finding me a massage. He went our of his way and that massage was exactly what I needed to walk more days. So much appreciate the owner!
The place was great. There was no human interaction, but the people from the hotel were always at service if needed through calls or the intercom. It was a great touch that they even prepared a bed for my dog
Great location. Staff, particularly Beatriz were incredibly helpful with translations for ongoing reservations and finding places in Pamplona for us. She is a wonderful person for your hotel.
A renovated and modern hotel in an excellent location within the old town center. The hotel and its rooms are quite small, but that is acceptable given its old town center location.
Smaller size room in a good location, 10 minutes walk to the old town, 2 minutes walk to the bus stop. The room was clean, has a great rain shower and there is a mini fridge.
Pamplona
Short walk from the coach terminal. Old town 15 minutes away. Friendly staff - helped us with tips and we could leave our luggage the next morning.
Pamplona
Located right on the Camino route in old town Pamplona. All of the old town sites were easy walking distance.
