Set in Paracuellos de Jarama, Hostal el Rocio is a 15-minute drive from the IFEMA Exhibition Center and 4.3 mi from Madrid-Barajas Airport. The guest house offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi.... The property was really lovely and the manager, Antonio, was great, respectful and very helpful! Will definitely come back!
Located 5 minutes’ drive from Madrid’s Barajas Airport, El Cruce offers a free airport shuttle service and short-term parking. A 24-hour reception, a terrace and a garden can be found on site. The staff is very organized and helpful!! Free shuttle from/to the airport. And clean and tidy rooms!
This family-run guesthouse is in Barajas, just a 5-minute drive from Madrid International Airport and 9.5 miles from the center of the city. It provides a free 24-hour airport shuttle. Location! First time to stay out of downtown Madrid and this was great idea. Hotel offer free airport shuttle service which was excellent. From the hotel you can walk (0.5miles) to Terminal 3/Barajas, and from there you can catch the Express Bus to the city(freq/each 15min). The price is 5 euro and takes 30-40min, 2 stops in downtown, Plaza de Cibeles and Atocha. Metro Station Barajas is just 5minutes walk, so you have the option to take the Metro too, but personally I liked the direct Express Bus option. You have plenty of great restaurant around the hotel, all walking distance. Breakfast: "La General", it's a bakery/restaurant, 2eggs+Bacon+basket of homemade bread 4.95 euro (the best bacon!), or have churro for breakfast at "Churreria Chocolateria El Artesano desde 1983" 2chocolatadas+1plate of churro 4euro, in the supermarket Hiber in front of the churreria you can get a very nice croissant, 3 for 1.50 euro. Kathmandu Tandoori House considered the best indican food in Madrid is just 5 minute walk, but we did not have chance to eat there. Hotel staff was very kind and helpful. I wanted hot water for my tea and they let me use their electric kettle during my stay.
Apartamentos Barajas offers self-catering studios and apartments in Madrid, in the district of Barajas, 1.9 mi from the entrance of the airport. Free Wi-Fi access is available. I liked the location. The room was very clean. There was everything in the room one needs for a short stay.
AIRPORT/IFEMA Estudio en Barajas enjoys a location in Madrid, just 8 miles from Paseo de la Castellana and 8 miles from Gran Via. very clean and spacious apartment. good for a night stopover at Madrid airport. close to airport. 40 mins. walking to T4 (not suggested).
This hotel is located only a 5-minute drive from Barajas airport and the Ifema fairgrounds. Rooms are comfortable, spacious and are distributed over the three floors of the building. Close proximity to the airport and to the metro station, from where you can go to the Madrid city center. It's near a square (max 40m) where you can find restaurants, stores etc
As always I made a GimpWalkabout the area once settled in, and discovered a back alley/footbridge across a small stream and backdoor view of one of the runways to this massive (certainly much-too-big for me!) Aeropuerto de Madrid-Barajas Adolfo Suarez. Insufficient time did not permit me to get much further in this great community, which, obviously, becomes the reason for returning!
This is a great place to stay near the MAD Airport. I highly recommend visiting RESTAURANTE EL ALBERO for some great food. Their specialty is the fried fish and they have lots of other great food. The service was pretty good and the locals are very warm and friendly.
Excellent Choice for a one night stay when traveling to and from the airport. The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean. And it offered a restaurant on site. The shuttle was also efficient and cheap.
Very quick service to and from airport on free shuttle. Comfortable and clean, basic accommodation. Lovely croissants and coffee for breakfast. Additional charge of €5.00 but worth it. Friendly, happy, helpful staff. Not much around for restaurants but the staff recommended a great little local spot down the road that we could walk to. A family run place that has huge grilled chicken on a bun, cold beer and local atmosphere.
The town has a bit of a history from the civil war. There is a graffiti covered monument at edge of town-not sure what it commemorated. Antonio recommended a lovely restaurant but as a solo female I felt uncomfortable there. I ate a squid bocadillo which was wonderful.
Clean single room, well priced.Hotel newly decorated friendly staff.Noisy becouse of busy street closeby.Thin walls.A bit further distance from airport as app says, but easy reachable with public transport.
The room was a good size and the bathroom was great, better than the rest of my hotels in Spain. The lady at reception was very nice and helpful.
No frills airport hotel.
