Property is located in the middle of downtown. Everything is clean and beautiful. Kitchen was a good asset for our family. We were able to cook breakfast and lunch and enjoy it in a beautiful leaving room.

It is extremely rare for me to provide a review, but in this case I thought travelers should take note of Casa y Fonda 18888. The property and the location exceeded all my expectations. The staff and room were wonderful. One of my markers for a good hotel is if the towels are thick and bedsheets soft and plush. Be aware that the hotel is located on the main square , Plaza Cervantes, which is pedestrian only. I doubt you can drive there directly. Also, since it is on the main square of the old city, it is a gathering place for young and old. But if it gets noisy outside, you can shut out the noise by closing the windows. The AC works quietly and efficiently. By the way, historic Alcala de Henares is also well worth a visit. I traveled directly from the airport and it took about 25 minutes.

I enjoyed the lovely room and the location made my visit so easy! The hosts were very kind and helpful. I felt very safe and really liked having a hot tea from the kitchen.

This hotel is located in the center of Acala de Henares – home to the famous Spanish writer Miguel de Cervantes and now declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout.

The location is very good. Very close to the university as well as the railway station. It's a family-run facility. Every one of them is very kind, friendly and accommodating. I will come back here again.

Staff tried to help even with language barrier. Room smelled clean. Lots of parking. Lunch of plate of day was good but way too much food. Salad was huge. Meat and potato second course was large also.
