A lovely home away from home. Walking distance to the beach. Lovely host. Very affordable and super clean. Beautiful common lounging areas. Lots of lovely touches, like suncream, toothpaste, shampoo in the bathroom, so useful as I had an early flight and I wanted to close my suitcase.

Extremely and unpleasantly hot for november — in the middle of the day anyway. A lot of bikers prefereing 60 km/h through the pedsterian area instead of 30 km/h on the biker's lane in a street uptown. The pleasent aspects is that there are no souvenirshops or alike, no irish/british/german pubs, there are locals, spainards, tranquility, nice views, good food and good living.

I liked the proximity to local shops, restaurants and bars and access to the promenade and beaches although it wasn't warm enough for sitting on a beach. Some people were in the sea! A car isn't really necessary as bus travel is cheap and fairly regular. Bike hire was a good price, 2 electric bikes from Max at Bergamin, 12 Calle Cordel cost 200 euros for 10 days. There is a more or less continuous path from Puerto del Carmen to Costa Teguise, about 28 miles return. If you want to visit Caesar Manriques creations it would be best to rent a car. If you are looking for a resort with lots of whistles and bells, this isn't it and of course it's close to the airport so you definitely hear the planes.

A great area to stay a good shopping mall, bowling for kids, plenty of restaurants and cafes, east walk to the beach, and a great walk from playa Honda to affective about 45 mins, the place is clean, more of a locals area no hotels mainly villas, we will definitely be going back

Perfect place who likes quite holidays with all services available. It was not noisy touristy area but all local restaurants and bars on the walking distance. We loved it. The bistro bar The Opera-an excellent. Food was superb and reasonably priced. And the staff in all restaurants and bars very friendly, welcome and hard workers.

Beautyful long sandy beach with a nice promenade with bars and restaurants. Supermarkets nearby. Calm and not overcrowdwed place, very close to the airport, Arrecife and Puerto del Carmen. Ideal for star tours in Lanzarote.
