We loved how attentive the staff were. It felt like a true 5-star experience. For example, we asked to change our room during the week when there were national holidays in France and Spain and so the hotel had a lot of guests and all the rooms were booked out, but the hotel staff took good care of us. They offered several different options to choose from without any problem. Also, they were super friendly about us requesting an early breakfast, which you can arrange at this hotel as early as 6:30 am if you also plan to go on excursions or go surfing like we did. Talking about surfing, there is a nice surfing school nearby, which picked us up from the hotel every morning, and the surfing spot (for beginners) was about 20 min away, so the hotel's location is definitely good for trying out surfing. The hotel is not right on the beach, you have to walk for about 5-7 minutes downhill, but to us it was not a problem.

I had a great experience during my stay. Although the room that was initially assigned did not have the full ocean view I was expecting when I booked, the reception staff were very understanding of my need for quiet and tranquility during my stay and were flexible in allocating another room as it became available the following day. Rooms are large and clean, great variety of food to choose from, and the elevated view over the beach and the ocean from the pool is absolutely breathtaking. The hotel is built on a coast so be ready to walk on a lot of stairs (beside taking the elevator) and burn those calories after enjoying the restaurant meals if you don’t want to use the gym which is small but decent enough and was almost always empty during my stay. You might get lost a bit as the lower layout of the hotel is like a maze (the signaling in the lower elevator and around the pathways can definitely be improved). It is a really large hotel so quite easy to be “just another guest in the crowd” but the people working there make you feel really welcomed and that you are important. You can see they are hard working people always running around and actually getting things done but always smiling at you and greeting you with a lot of warmth from housekeeping to gardening, restaurant teams, handlers, reception, all of them.

Everything is clean and well maintained, bravo ! The beach view is amazing, the pools are nice and clean. The hotel is calm and not crowded at all (which is not easy to find during the summer). The food quality is good in all the restaurants.

The bathroom is super nice (except for the fact that when you shower, it is unavoidable to splash the entire room), and the bed is comfy. The couch looks a bit weird but is actually quite good. There is free parking everywhere. Checking in is easy.

    Pleasant staff, but poor facilities and cuisine. The proximity of the property to the beach was great. The size of the resort was also good but overall the lack of investment in the resort led to a poor experience.

    We liked being outside the main tourist development but within easy reach - a few minutes by car. From Esquinzo we could walk for miles along the beach at low tide, with just a few detours if the tide came in.

    It was natural beach with white sand .

    It was natural beach with white sand . And some rocks that didn't stop swimming. Big waves did some days. Way to beach went downhill and back uphill. No cabina in the beach, but it wasn't problem. Beach wasn't crowded.

    Everything was spot on, I was happy with the service received, staffs were polite and friendly. Good timing to be in the spa. Very clean and at the restaurant the buffet and the spend of staffs cleaning tables was just amazing👌🏿 best place to go for couple…..I will go back there again soon

    I would like to ask booking.com to refund me on behalf of the hotel because I trusted them to book a place via their website. I’m so devastated now & feel drained that I wish I didn’t go for a holiday. It seems like I paid lots of money to just make myself more devastated!!

    Really great holiday experience, comfy bed, plenty space, clean room, great pool and food was really nice and amazing value for money. Beautiful beach on doorstep, taxi or bus into town no problem. The negative reviews on here are mostly from ignorant Brits who expect 5 star hotel for pennies and also expect Spanish staff to speak English! Try learning Spanish when visiting a Spanish island! We had a great time.

    Nice and clean rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. General facilities was nice and staff was quick to keep up in the restaurants constantly cleaning tables. So personal service was great on absolutely all levels. Pool area had a good layout too and didn’t have any problems getting a sun bed after 9 was a good change from previous hotels we have stayed in.

    The hotel has an amazing beach right in front and a beautiful view from the pool area. The heated pool was also really nice. We found the staff in the Italian restaurant really nice. We never ate in but ordered pizzas to take away and eat on a the beach a couple of times, which we enjoyed.
