This is an antique converted rectory that offers spacious and comfortable accommodations. The host is incredibly kind and helpful and keeps the kitchen and living room open for you with supplies of drinks and fruit - it is very charming. The village is very quiet, there's no cafe or supermarket here. In fact the roads are quite narrow through town so be prepared for an exciting time navigating. We found Google maps to be inaccurate, the best approach is to take the road through the fields to the high ground to the east. Navigate for the church. We recommend visiting the hot springs in Ourense and the Roman hilltop fort and museum, Centro de Interpretacion da Cultural Castrexa. Highly recommended!

The staff were ALL so helpful. Pilar even went out of her way to assist me when I wanted to purchase then eat some large crab from the seafood store down the street. I ate out in the garden and it was a very nice occasion only occuring with the help of Pilar. The rooms were clean, the bed very comfy...slept all night... no noise. The shower was as hot as you want, so very nice. The breakfast was actually a bit too much food for me, but I wholeheartedly recommend the stay ...and the breakfast if you can eat more than I in the mornings. Allariz itself is also grand.

This is one of the best places I've stayed. Really can't say anything bad about it. Not talking about stars here, just a good place to stay. Very glad I found it. Service is great, rooms ideal. I like the location. It is in a small town away from crowds, and i like that as well.
