We are a couple in our late 50s trekking the Camino from Porto to Santiago de Compostela. This property is in an amazing location right on the Camino Trail. The apartment itself is clean, quiet and fully stocked. We went shopping and ate in, kitchen had everything you need to prepare a home-cooked meal. One of our favorite features was the balcony which faces the main square in Porriño. We really enjoyed hanging out on the balcony and people watching as locals about their daily lives and pilgrims came through the square. This is a top-notch property in the center of town and right on the Camino

Lovely apartment that had everything a pilgrim needs for a solid night of rest after walking. Truly appreciated the ability to wash our clothes and the coffee was wonderful. Location was awesome and the hosts were communicative and gracious.

What Guests Said About Porriño:

    This town was such a nice surprise.

    This town was such a nice surprise. I decided to divide my camino stage and Porriño was great to visit. There are plenty of nice restaurants and cafés. It's a beautiful town architecturally, so I enjoyed walking around the town. It's also not a touristy town or a place overrun with other Caminho pilgrims (like me), so I was able to experience the town without a lot of outside influence. On a personal choice note, I actually enjoyed Porriño more than Valença and Tui. I spent a night in each of those locations on my Camino. The other two towns were much more focused on the tourist/pilgrim guests. While I enjoyed Valença because of its history and architecture, the town was more touristy than I would have liked. Porriño has all the charm of a small town, without the interference of outside . A final note about Porriño. The people that you interact with, restaurant, hotel staff or just people you meet on the street were always pleasant to interact with. They were always patient with my limited language skills and made me feel welcome in their town. Visit Porriño!

    Nuria was very welcoming and helpful, the hostel was well thought through with everything I needed (hairdryer, plenty of towels, extra blanket, locker with key) and in a convenient central location. In the end I was the only guest for the night I stayed during my Camino (outside of peak season) and Nuria went out of her way to ensure I felt safe and comfortable which I really appreciated, a great option if you're staying in Porrino.

    The owner was so eager to please and explained how everything worked , that there was a pharmacy across the road and supermarket 300 mths away and a gray little cafe/bar that served very cheap but excellent Tapas ! He then offered to drive us all into O Porrino that didn’t have our own transport which was very helpful to me .

    Help and miracle 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 on my rainy Camino Portuguese day. I was disappointed with hotel i booked and happily found this apartment to stay. In half an hour Host quickly helped to find way to apartment, used maps with notes. It helped. I have got more than expected. Thank you for comfort, warm, quality and clean room.
