Beautiful view from the room and silence (just the sound of the ocean). Nice swimming pool with a lot of available sunbeds. Breakfasts were tasty, but the same every day. Many good restaurants around. There is an interesting bar and well-equipped gym that almost nobody uses. The hotel is located on the cliff. Walking to the nearest beach (a lot of medium stones) or the main street requires stepping down high staircases.

The hotel is standing on a cliff, and the view from there is marvelous. We basically chose it for the view and for the nice green territory on the facilities. The breakfast was quite good. The staff is friendly and helpful. At the check-in, the receptionist offered us a room upgrade, and it was such a pleasant surprise. Made our day and the whole stay.

The room was clean and really big, much bigger than I expected, the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very diversed, with a lot of options. Also, the view from the hotel terrace/room to the Puerto de la Cruz and the ocean was amazing.

    Puerto de la Cruz is the nicest city on the Island.

    Puerto de la Cruz is the nicest city on the Island. It has that wonderfully built Lago Martináez, where you could swim, whatever high waves were on the ocean. The seaside promenade is beautiful, full of stores and restaurants. It is easy to get around. Also very good place for shopping is the Martiánez Shopping Centre, which is very close to the hotel and has good quality clothes and food in Mercadona.

    Temperature was just right for me in July not too hot with a cool breeze. Lots to see and do great places to eat, I recommend Brunelli's Steakhouse for the most magnificent views and great food. Also a small Italian Cucci for pasta and pork dishes were excellent. Not many English mostly Spanish out enjoying themselves. A must go to bar is Hawa Rooftop Bar, on the promenade modern hotel the Silken Saaj Maar. Free to go to for non residents after 18:00 just press the buzzer in the vestibule by the glass doors and ask to go to the bar get in the lift and floor 6. I was advised to rent a car and it was definitely the correct decision transfers are expensive and it's just over an hour drive from the airport on great roads.

    I liked the shopping centre, the quirky tourist shops and the restaurants were great. A walk along the front was lovely and took us to the fishing beach and onto a large play area for kids. This had a few restaurants around also. Its a great area to stay as a stop-off for a trip to Loro Parque

    If you are looking for a peaceful, civilised resort, then this is the place. The walk from Playa Martinez to Playa Castillo is lovely. There are enough attractions to occupy your time and if you want to go further afield , then good frequent public transport is available. A visit to the Botanic Gardens and La Orotava are musts.

    We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The location is fantastic - very convenient, with breathtaking view of the ocean. The hotel itself offers great facilities, including a gym, which is super important for us. The grounds are beautiful, the breakfasts were excellent. We’d definitely love to come back! If there’s anything that could be improved, we’d suggest updating the room interiors a bit. And fixing the Wi-Fi! Spanish sim-cards doesn't work well inside.

    My third time at this accommodation and it I can’t speak...

    My third time at this accommodation and it I can’t speak highly enough. This modern studio is perfectly situated in front of the pier with a great sea view. It’s immaculately clean and has everything you need. This is my top choice for a week in Puerto.

    The hotel is very clean and has all the facilities. The apartments are well equipped. The breakfast is rich. The staff is very kind. If we return to Tenerife, we will definitely stay at Masaru. The temperatures at the end of August do not require air conditioning. The area in which the hotel is located is very clean and rich in luxuriant vegetation.

    The sea view, helpful staff, cleanliness, relax, great selection of food for breakfast as well for dinner, soo wide and comfortable beds...everything was perfect, thank you so much! Even there are only a few parking places right next to the hotel, you always find some free area within walking distance. So rent a car and explore Tenerife :-)
