Initial door entry was problematic as the key to the security door was inside the apartment and we had to wait until someone came out of the building to get in. The doors to the balcony opened but would not shut and although this was reported and an assurance given that the matter would be attended to, nothing happened. Overall we were pleased with the accommodation and enjoyed the holiday, although the resort was quite hilly, which made it difficult to get around and down to the beach area.

Compared to big resorts Puerto de Santiago was a quiet town perfect for resting and escaping from hustle and bustle. There were some buses to use nevertheless a car was a great option to move around the island from Puerto de Santiago. The beach was rather small with black sand.

The facilities were clean and the breakfast was good.

The facilities were clean and the breakfast was good. The pictures on line make it look far nicer then it is. Our balcony looked straight across the street into a residential building. The street was very loud. It is located at the end of a shopping strip. The location is far from beach and tourist spots. I booked it on a 4 star rating but later found it is rated as 2 star.

Very nice place with stunning views but a lot of hills and a lack of artificial beaches. I prefer natural shore though but generally playa La Arena was the only choice in terms of beach time. Nice place to stay for 2 days and move somewhere else. There is almost nothing to do in the evening apart from a couple of bars. But I have to say during my 2 week stay in the winter, the weather was the best in Puerto Santiago and Los Gigantes area. Keep that in mind. Its also a good starting point to see Teide, Masca and Puerto de la Cruz but very far away from Santa Cruz. Next time I will 100% choose Santa Cruz instead of any Tenerife Sur town. Just too many tourists everywhere. Santa Cruz is different. On the other hand nearby Los Gigantes offers many nice cruises, kayaks, e-bikes, trekking routes etc. So for more active people imo its a good place to be.

Puerto de Santiago is lovely area eating out is amazing lots of places to eat and not over expensive, waking costal paths in either direction are great, we did a day trip on the bus to Puerto de La Cruz just under 2 hours each way but well worth it, found a nice fish restaurant in Alcala in a great holiday.

A lovely small place with a good choice of restaurants and bars. Probably not for younger holiday makers who may prefer a more lively resort. But if you like a nice relaxing holiday with a good selection of nice bars and places to eat then this is lovely. You must be reasonably fit as the road and paved areas are quite hilly. There are some nice walks to local villages and beaches if you like to walk a bit rather than just sun lounge all day. Lovely place for a relaxing holiday.

The hostel is quite beautiful, clean and with good quality kitchen tools/appliances. Great location (7 minutes walking from Playa de la Arena and 8 minutes by car from Los Gigantes). I worked every day for 4 days from their rooftop with very strong and fast wifi (3 different routers), no issues there. My best experience was with the staff: they made me feel like we were a family (even made pizza night and pasta night) and I had my best time going out with them. 100% would recommend

It was our first visit to Tenerife and we loved our stay at this hotel. The apartment was very big, spacious and clean with a well equipped kitchen if you wanted to self cater. All the staff were welcoming and helpful. The pool is lovely and a good temperature. The best thing about our stay though was the view from our balcony as we got a fantastic sunset overlooking the mountains and the sea. We would stay here again if we decide to come back to the island.

Staff was always great and not their fault how the hotel is managed in any way. Best part of the staff were the waiters and at the bar. Cleaning did a great job and very flexible. The food at the bar was much better then every in that poor buffets. Perfect location for great view and to relax. The room was modern and good. The beds in the room were comfortable. Soft drinks and alcohol drink at buffet were up to a hotel standards.

Amazing facilities, perfect to stay for a long time and relax your well deserved holidays. The room has bathroom, kitchen and a terrace with a beautiful view to Los Gigantes. You have a supermarket and a gym right in front of the hotel, an awesome pool and a friendly staff to inform you about the things to do on the island. And the price! It is more affordable than some hostels in London or Paris.

Good location for exploring the West coast of Tenerife. Apt was spacious and well-cleaned before our arrival. Short walk to a black-sand beach and several dining options. Garage parking available, though it was difficult to get in and out of the assigned parking spot so we opted to park on the street (plenty spots available). Clothes washer available, as well as plenty of towels.

It's a lovely apartment! Only a few minutes from Puerto de Santiago (which is smaller and nicer than Los Gigantes in my opinion). Puerto de Santiago has a black sand beach and plenty of restaurants. The apartment is clean and has a good kitchen. And a nice sunny balcony (not full on sea view, but sea is visible). There's even a pool. Good communication from host (rental agent)

It had amazing view. Probably one of the best views in Puerto de Santiago. The beach was close by. Aldo's pizza was next door. Good pizzas and super nice. The beach was close by and it is possible to order a pizza to the beach (make sure you have Aldo's pizza's phone number). Nice to have the fridge because we ordered 17 icecreams in home delivery!!!

The property is very close to La Arena Beach, one of the best beaches in Tenerife, and close to restaurants, supermarkets and other facilities to make your stay very comfortable. The host, Luis is very nice and professional and goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome, and he was very receptive to quickly fix any problem we might have.
