it’s the feeling of being surrounded by nature, the meadow, the view on the mountains and the river yet you’re only 10 minutes by foot from the city centre of Ripoll with shops and restaurants. The hosts, Arantxa and Arnau, are super friendly and kind and tell all about the possibilities to enjoy what the area has to offer, whether nature, culture or local cuisine. The house is tastefully renovated and very comfortable.

Charming and magical house and decor!! Absolutely darling! Exceeded our expectations…Eva had a taxi pick us up from the train station in Ripoll. Breakfast and dinner were many traditional Catalan dishes which were a treat! Make your own cocktail/Vermouth from fresh ingredients….extra cost but well worth it…. Hiked down to river past farms with horses up to beautiful old church…took approx. 2.5 hours…all very lovely!

Top location, walk to the monestir, full of cafes and restaurants, free parking close by with plenty of space and next to the police. Very safe, I had to leave a big luggage in the trunk and nothing happened. The restaurant provided great food. The people who manage the building are great, very friendly.

    Ripoll was the most beautiful place.

    Ripoll was the most beautiful place. Our accommodation at “Can Vilardi” was most horrible. The operators are scammers trying blame renters for breaking the devices in the home that never worked before we arrived. They reported us to the police for breaking the driveway entry gate. We have videos and pictures and four eye witnesses to these statements. These people are SCAMMERS. AVOID IF POSSIBLE

    The location was somewhat difficult to find - we missed the small signpost behind some small industrial plants, but the house itself was spacious and quiet. The room was well equipped with an efficient airco. The breakfast (7 euros pp) was very tasty and copious. We stayed 2 nights. Easy if you want to visit Ripoll and its gorgeous Santa Maria former cloister, and nearby Sant Joan de les Abadesses. Even the stunning mountain village Queralbs lies not further than 20 minutes away.

    We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Solana del Ter. Our room was spacious with a beautiful view over the pool. Although the hotel is a bit outdated, it was very comfortable and clean, and since they are undergoing renovations, we’re sure it will soon be perfect. The staff were really friendly and helpful, which made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was very good, and the restaurant was a lovely surprise — the midday menu was excellent.

    Appealing, clean and comfortable room. Parking directly in front of the hotel and alongside the police station a bonus. Appreciated the elevator for our baggage. Most importantly we had the nicest and most helpful receptionist who made us feel so welcome as visitors. Would recommend and stay again.

    The location is great. It’s quiet and not far from excellent hiking areas. Ripoll city and supermarkets is only a few minutes away from the house.
