It's a very traditional Spanish City away from the Costa's, So much history and some beautiful architecture and views of the gorge and distant mountains, and you can get there by train! Ronda is a stunning town with phenomenal and astonishingly beautiful views. Deservedly popular. Being inland, it can get very hot and any trip down below the bridge requires a lot of physical fitness. Soak yourself with water before going down, you will soon dry out. Car parking can be difficult and many streets are narrow. Plenty of restaurants and ice cream outlets and lots of gift shops on the main shopping pedestrianised street. We loved the old streets, the paved squares, the Arabic influences, all the churches, the bullring, the English promenade with amazing views over the gorge...and the star of the show, the Puente Nuevo - an incredible feat of engineering.
