Casa Carolina is located in Teo and offers a shared lounge, a garden and barbecue facilities. This family stay has free private parking, room service and free WiFi. Carolina went above and beyond to welcome us, take care of our needs and make us feel at home, in her home! I would stay there gladly again!
Easily accessible from the AP9 Motorway, this 18th-century farmhouse is in the Galician town of Cornide. It offers an outdoor pool and country-style rooms with free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TV. Even though this house is located 2.5km away from the Camino route, it was definitely worth a stay. We walked up to the house, and it was slightly uphill but was not bad of a walk. It was well reviewed and we knew it was a nice place, but it was more than that. Every corner of the house has something that makes us feel welcomed. I believe the hosts, Tanya and her husband Carols love this property and take good care of whoever visits their house. Our room had a nice balcony where we had a chance to chill and relax, and I could tell they even clean the railing of the balcony. All the windows were also sparkling clean. We were glad we arrived early so that we were able to enjoy the house. Inside of the pigeon loft was amazing, must see! There is not much around the area, but we enjoyed just being there, sitting on the couch and looking at the garden, and peaceful surroundings. We ordered dinner 15 euro per person and had a nice bottle of wine separately which was recommended by Carlos. Food was simply tasty and flavourful, the portion was just perfect. Breakfast was very nice too. Various selection of salami was so good and apparently, they are the high-quality one. It was a nice treat for us on the last night stay before Santiago de Compostela!
Pensión Glorioso is a guest house located in Picaraña, along the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route. Free WiFi access is available. The owners were very nice and extremely hospital. Very clean rooms They let us in early and made torta and Padron peppers. Later they had a nice daily menu. Delicious
A pretty village setting enroute to Santiago, on the Camino Portuguese, peaceful and quiet, great comfortable room and garden, restaurant across the small road between both parts of hotel. The menu looks promising, if a little more than standard peregrine fare, however it was ala carte, for dinner, We only ate breakfast at the hotel, which was great, very tasty and service with a warm smile! . Great relaxing stay with a bath for a soak after Camino!
This was a beautiful little stop about 12km from Santiago on the Camino Portuguese. The location made for the perfect walk into town the next morning. Food was delicious. Very generous & tasty breakfast provided as well. It's a little pricier than other places, but I like to mix up albergue stays with hotel stays, so it all averages out. I'd recommend this little oasis.
