Eurostars Las Claras 4 stars

Hotel in Salamanca City Centre, Salamanca

Eurostars Las Claras is in central Salamanca, just 7 minutes’ walk from the Cathedral and Plaza Mayor Square. It offers bright rooms with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. The hotel was the best we stayed in throughout our road trip around Spain. It was located within a short walk to all the sights and monuments,as well as cafes and restaurants . We were given a warm welcome and lots of useful information about Salamanca. Our room was fabulous - a junior suite (upgrade!) . It had its own lounge and tv leading to the excellent bathroom and bedroom . ( huge bed!) Breakfast was delicious with a wide choice on offer . We also pre booked a car space in the underground car park. Salamanca truly is lovely and this hotel matched it.

An Ancient University Town with Fascinating Culture

In the south-west corner of Castile and Leon, the Spanish city of Salamanca is home to one of the oldest universities in Europe. Declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Old City is one of the most beautiful Renaissance cities in Europe.

Situated next to the border with Portugal, Salamanca has unique architecture including Romanesque, Gothic, Moorish, Renaissance and Baroque monuments. The Old Cathedral dates from the 12th-13th centuries and joined together with the 16th-century New Cathedral.
