They drive us to the beginning if our hike. They give us some grape and cactus, they open the pool, I love garden and they give us a tour of their it's so pretty!! And for the cats really no problem. I am allergic and it's didn't disturb me. We did a BBQ (started by the owner) and I just check the food for be sure, but nothing the kitten where just chilling around. Really a nice stay!!

Recently refurbished apartment with both a dishwasher and air conditioning! The new kitchen and bathroom are beautiful and really nice. We loved having a separate bedroom for the children that wasn't the living room. The complex itself is very quiet. Even the maintenance staff made hardly any noise at all, which was a welcome relief. The view from the balcony was also spectacular as you can see the southern tip of the island (the nexus between Playa del Inglés and Maspalomas). The wifi was excellent. Finally, the hosts were very, very good and friendly. That was also very much appreciated!

Our accommodation was lovely, private and quiet. The gourmet breakfast, including the amazing presentation, was incredible. Stefy, thank you again for making our stay so wonderful! We had such a great time!!!

Was the perfect break from cold, harsh London. The hosts are incredibly responsive and very generous and helpful. The house is in perfect isolation and has every item you should need - even a large ice bucket for all the wine you will drink in the sun!

It's a gritty place with some great restaurants and fun places to see shows, dance, etc. The beaches are amazing, and the water great - if you get a day where the rip-tide isn't too great (it's sideways and carried me about 300 metres down the beach one day). There aren't really any notable "old city" areas - so if you want to see traditional Spanish villages, it's not here. This is a resort town, with private bulgalows and hotels everywhere. For sites, etc, go to the old town in Las Palmas, or HIGHLY recommended, Puerto de Morgan - very much like a little Venice. Views are incredible, with mountains in the distance and a short walk to the dune to watch the incredible sunsets. The beaches are a good walk through the dunes (expect 30 mins), but definitely worth it. There is some great shopping (clothing, groceries, etc) with very low prices, but mostly outside the main tourist area and a good 30 minute walk North of the Yumbo Centre (Mercadona is the grocery store).

San Bartolome covers a pretty wide area encompassing bustling Playa del Ingles, slightly upmarket Maspalomas and the smaller resorts along the coast. The suburb of San Fernando, just to the north of Playa del Ingles provides the nearest thing to an authentic Spanish feel - and is certainly the place to shop for food and essentials which are substantially cheaper than the outlets in the resorts. There are dozens of eateries in PdI and Maspalomas, some good, some bad and plenty mediocre. There are plenty of online review sites you can check for up to date information but I would single out a small, unprepossessing restaurant on the main north/south Ave Tirajana, Lola, for superb food and the Atelier Bar ( on the top floor of the Bohemia Suites ) for great cocktails with a view of the dunes. Getting around is as easy as downloading the guaguaglobal app - which will get you from A to B with ease. Taxis within the confines of the resort are cheap and plentiful.

It was ideal for us as we could travel where we wanted on the bus. At the moment there are big changes in the village as they are working hard to lay new surfaces on the roads , which are anti slip. They had put up Christmas lights and decorated the place with other Christmas scenes . Plus, our host had brought flowers and Christmas decorations for our house.

The location was fine.the only part was the reps on the beach front trying to sell you everything from timeshare (although they say it's not) and others trying to book tours for you both 3 or 4 times in the days They then get upset when you tell them it's not for you So much so it turns a polite no thank you to do one

The bungalow/apartment itself is spacious, clean and generally in good condition. Good beds. The neighborhood/bungalow area (ex. hotel complex?) is very quiet and nearest neighbors seem to be permanent residents. Pool area good and very few people around, pool not heated though. Nice terrace, backyard and balcony. Location OK - short distance to the beach, big supermarket and (half-empty) shopping mall with some restaurants. All in all good for family stay!
