Everything was exceptional: warm, welcoming service, beautiful facilities and spotless cleanliness, comfortable room, excellent breakfast, live concert in the courtyard (only until 10pm, then quiet and peaceful for a good night's rest), central location for exploring the town, 5 minutes from local bus stops to get to Calella, Llafranc and Tamariu, and 10 minutes walking from the main bus station for intercity travel. And all of this for great value for money. 10/10

There's a very lively atmosphere with the bar area downstairs and all the nice decorations and lights in the evening. The staff are very nice and helpful.

We were to arrive late and there was a problem with my credit card. The staff managed to solve the problem. And send info on how to access the hotel, room and parking place. Breakfast was outstanding delicious.

Clean, quiet hotel. Very comfortable bed, large shower, good closet space with plenty of hangers, heating unit worked well. The refrigerator was a nice touch. Easy parking and easy check-in. Teresa at reception was very welcoming and helpful.

Helpful, friendly staff. Comfortable clean and quiet room. The location right as you enter town is very convenient and the dedicated parking lot is awesome and unique. This is the only parking lot in Catalunya where I had plenty of space to turn around! Begur and coastal hiking are easy to drive to. Recommended!

The place was very comfortable, clean in perfection. The owner was very helpful and also made an extra effort to help us in a wrong scheduling of our reservation. Thanks to her everything was fine and we could enjoy a beautiful weekend in the Costa Brava. In addition, the bad was very cosy. I was very stressed because of work and finally could rest well. The location of the hostal is also a big plus to call attention: it’s in the heart of the city, so you can go to the beach, do some trekking in Camino de Ronda, and have dinner in a nice restaurant with the assurance of a easy way to come back to the room.

Fonda Mitjà enjoys a location in Torroella de Montgrí, 4.4 miles from Medes Islands Marine Reserve and 21 miles from Girona Train Station.
