The entire area is so inclusive it is amazing. So much so that the wife and I are considering investing. Mainly because it is the most inclusive resort I have ever imagined. There are lifeguards with wheelchairs, ramps, crutches, and enthusiasm; to help every one into the sea. Drop kerbs all over. And an openness and acceptance that would make this the ideal place for SEN kids, or adults with disabilities There are plenty of affordable street cafes for tapas and a fry-up, or a curry. San Pedro is a lovely area.
San Pedro is a lovely area. The beach area is good and plenty of little bars along the sea front. There are also plenty of shops in the town. Also an abundance of bars and restaurants serving different types of food from typical spanish to Mexican, Indian, Chinese. You can travel to other neighbouring towns such as Los Alcazares and San Javier and in the other direction El Mojon and Torre de la horadada where there are plenty of places to eat and drink. There are plenty of things to do in the area such as the mud baths, boat trips in the summer. Would certainly recommend the area to people. Plenty of hotels to suit all budgets. We found San Pedro del Pinatar to be a very relaxing place...
We found San Pedro del Pinatar to be a very relaxing place to stay. It was clearly popular with the older Spanish tourist as it is flat and all areas are very wheelchair friendly. The Mar Menor micro climate is very evident with the lagoon water temperature ( in August) extremely warm. The lagoon water might be a little unfriendly for actual swimming but you can hire bikes and cycle to the sea to enjoy a stunning beach beside San Pedro’s marina.Guest review byFrancis O’GormanIreland
