Brilliant hotel. Being able to bring our dog was amazing. The people who work here really love dogs too. She was treated so well. We were able to bring her to the bar which was perfect. Breakfast was delicious too. Absolutely recommend and we didn't see anyone else with a dog in case anyone reading this is thinking it's awash with dogs. The nicest genuinely caring staff. Thanks so much.

Well appointed room, beautiful building, great amenities on site. The staff was very helpful. The location is wonderful, they are right on the river near the more modern part of time and right around the corner from the old town, or casco viejo. It is in walking distance from the river, the Guggenheim, and the funicular. great location!

    Great location, short trip to Ferry, Very good wifi in room, Max Centre very close for fast food, secure parking for my motorcycle from 11pm to 8am, I still recommend to use locks on your motorcycle like every other hotel. Friendly staff and easy checkin, Bar, breakfast cost 10 euro and well worth it. Room was quiet and large enough for solo or couple.

    B arakaldo is a bourough of Bilbao. IT is a good place to stay to visit the city. I was very impressed by the city, specially its architecture, both ancient/classic and modern. It definitely is worth a visit, say a week.

    Good walking and cycling area well placed for visiting Bilbao without taking your car into the city good local bus service with a bus every half hour on the hour and half hour excellant metro service to city only 8 stops to the Guggenheim museum

    The hotel had recently been taken over by a new owner/...

    The hotel had recently been taken over by a new owner/manager, so some of the facilities were not available (no restaurant as it was being refurbished). The bed was terribly soft, although I managed to sleep OK. It wasn't a difficult trip into the main part of Barakaldo (this was El Regato) either by car or by bus and there were many walkers the following day, following the river into town .

    The apartment is very conveniently located right above the tube station. There is a parking nearby, three breakfast-option cafes and a greengrocer right outside the building door. In a few minutes' walks there are also bars and other shops. The hosts are professional - they send detailed instructions and everything works. The apartment itself is hotel-level accommodation - pristine, good mattresses, all furniture in perfect condition, fully equipped kitchen, plenty of towels, toiletries. Basically, a hotel stay without other guests.

    We chose this Ibis as we drove from Alicante and wanted somewhere to stay which is close to the Ferry Port as we are travelling back to Northern Ireland for Christmas. We have our small dog with us which is permitted at this Ibis, for an additional fee. The Hotel is Right next to a service station and food outlets/restaurants. We had a reasonably good rest. Free parking on site too!

    I visit this hotel for more than 6 years. Restaurant food is excellent and all breakfast variety is one of the best in Spain. WiFi is excellent for working. Bed is very good for resting after one working day. Personnel is great and helpful at the reception and room cleaning. Will be back

    Clase to city center (travelling by car), helpful and friendly straffrei Ibis Budget Barakaldo had all we needed: a comfortable quiet room, a hotel bar with food and an apple breakfast. And: they don't change for the dog. I'd respecto anytime.
