I was a bit disappointed, the beaches are nice, but it is extremely touristy. The restaurants are overpriced and the famous great cuisine is not all that great. Having said that, it is still worth the visit. The boat visit to the Doñana was worth the visit. Also the Medina-Sidonia palace is a must, specially for history buffs.

we come to sanlucar to forget the hassle and the stress of the city. Here we enjoy the sun, good food, excellent wine and stressless pace of life. It is also very near to a natural reserve where to observe flamingoes!

Sanlucar is a seaside town frequented mainly by Spanish rather than overseas tourists. If you want a genuine experience that's safe and friendly we recommend Sanlucar. It has some interesting sights (the cathedral and the castle), the nearby Donosa national park makes for an unusual excursion and is a handy base for Cadiz and Jerez day-trips. Recommended by locals as a nice place to visit & didn't disappoint.

All the components of a wonderful break - a bustling bust town with excellent restaurants/ tapas bars, historical sites and white sandy beaches. Famous for sherry and you can visit a bodega and see how it is made.

A Spanish town for poor Spanish people
Nice beach and old town, but always surrounded by people selling lottery tickets, handbags(dodgy ones) etc. Decent food, if not very healthy and ok tapas and bars.Seville a better bet by miles. Good boat trip to national park but not much to see re birds/animals.

Great place for rest, relaxation, tasting delicious food and great wines at a reasonable price.
Great place for rest, relaxation, tasting delicious food and great wines at a reasonable price. This city - just my big love! Beautiful even in winter, sandy beaches and a huge nature reserve close to complement your enjoyment. There is also an interesting castle with a small but interesting museum, the beautiful pedestrian streets of the old town and several bodegas, open to the public.
“We fully recommend this stay and we felt like home there! Super nice host, great stay at her place and really nice breakfast in the morning. The place is close to everything you'd like to see in Sanlucar. We also easily found a parking place outside. Thank you, we will be back! ;)”
“Lovely spacious room with lmost separate sitting room where our daughter slept. Beautiful riad style hotel with pool built around the well that we could see from our room, tea and coffee facilities plus fridge in room. All very good taste and nice staff. ”
“I love the location and the staff are very nice. Been staying on this hotel for over 3 years and
I was very please.
Isabel, Martha and Maria are so nice and professional. Very attentive to their costumer.
The location is great too!”
“The only good thing about the hotel is its location, very close to the fishermen's neighbourhood of Bajo de Guía, where you can taste the best food of Sanlucar.”
“Nice room with balcony overlooking the pool and sea views. Very quiet as was out of season but comfortable and close to the promenade along the seafront. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.”

How does it work?
1
It starts with a booking
The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
Followed by a trip
When guests stay at the property, they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff is, and more.
3
And finally, a review
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.
