We found Santiago de la Ribera to be a charming seaside town. With tapas bars, restaurants and cafe's there are ample facilities for tourists while the town has a traditional Spanish small town feel. An ideal destination for those not wanting a noisy resort. The town market is held every Wednesday and is huge, well worth a visit
The whole area was very pleasant. The little kiosk bar is very good value for money. We found 'idara pinchos bar' one evening, a must for anyone visiting the area. Due to the very heavy rains they had recently some of the roads were still coated with a layer of silt. Such a shame our time was cut short.
great promenade with excellent accessibility to it and the beaches Super fish restaurant at Hotel Marino and tapas bar Nicols in main street Very easy getting around - everything on the flat and good provision for disabled including parking spaces. Might not be so easy in the busy summer periods It's a reasonably quiet resort which we liked but we did enjoy listening to the salsa lessons outside a bar on the promenade whilst having coffee and liqueurs
Beautiful beach which was not too built up or busy but still with plenty of bars and restaurants. Cartagena is well worth a visit as is cabo de Pablo, lo pagan and Los alcazares (Saturday morning market)
The staff were extremely helpful. When asked to change room - it was done with total efficiency and the alternative accommodation was totally acceptable. I would definitely recommend this hotel not only for solo travellers but also for couples. I didn't try the restaurant but have booked again and may well try it then!!
This hotel was excellent value for money. The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was clean and fitted with an over-bath shower and there was ample hot water available whenever we needed it. The hotel is a 10 minute drive from Murcia airport and a 5 minute walk to the beach. The staff (especially Alex) were great
Only 10 minutes from San Javier Airport and a perfect stop-off point when flying in late at night. Very friendly hotel, the room was huge and very comfortable and the hotel has an excellent cafe where our breakfast was included in the price.
Nice place, 1 minute to the beach, clear and calm see- laguna, clean hotel, silent street, helpful staff, very good Wi-Fi ! , down restaurant with local kitchen, few times a day -turisic boat to La Manga (2 minuts from hotel)
The staff were so helpful and friendly. The balcony view was out of this world. I've stayed in four star hotels and the cleanliness wasn't as good as this hotel. The whole area is so peaceful and beautiful.
Location was really good, just a few minutes walk from the beaches and lots of bustling restaurants and bars. Staff were friendly, and bike hire at the hotel was a brilliant way to see the area.
Took a long time to find because of the one way system, and no entry on a lot of roads. Only see one sign for the hotel which we took then no others.
the staff were very friendly... the Hostal was VERY clean............... better than any hotel !!!!!!!!!!!!!
