Special thanks to Jose who was the forst staff member that welcomed us explained everything in detail and also helped us with parking. Seville is a city that lends itself perfectly to just wandering around and soaking up the atmosphere. And there is plenty of atmosphere to soaked up.

People watching is very much a pastime here, and all over Seville restaurants teem with well-heeled locals enjoying a laid-back coffee or cerveza under the shade of a citrus tree.

The city also has its fair share of must-see sights. At the top of the list is Plaza de España whose monumental, semi-circular building is elaborately decorated with Andalusian tiles. Also typically Andalusian is the Seville Bull Ring, though what goes on inside may not be to everyone’s taste. The resting place of Christopher Columbus, UNESCO World Heritage-listed Seville Cathedral is an awe-inspiring structure whose vast vaults provide welcome relief from the heat of the day.

But it’s after dark that things really start to heat up. Streets pulse to the rhythm of flamenco, and with more bars per inhabitant than anywhere else in Europe, there’s no shortage of choice for nightlife.

Just on the outskirts of the city is Seville Airport. Public transport from here provides easy access to the array of Seville hotels, guest houses and apartments that Booking.com has to offer.

    Stayed for three days which was just right.

    Stayed for three days which was just right. Did the hop on hop off bus which was a bit boring as it was just around the outskirts and not in the old town. Then we did a guided tour of the palace and cathedral. It is worth the money to do a guided tour as it was extremely informative and you missed the long long queues to get in. The second day we did a hugely great cooking class in the market at Triana and the third day we just wandered around and did a big supermarket shop of things to bring home. A lovey city, walked everywhere and had great drinks and tapas.

    We visited the historic sights and took a bus and boat along with walks to a stunning park and a fabulous flamenco show. It is truly a very beautiful city and well worth a visit. Would highly recommend.

    Stayed in Seville for 5 days.

    Stayed in Seville for 5 days. The areas I would recommend visiting are Triana for a lively and busy vibe. Most impressive by far is the Parque Maria Luisa which is jaw dropping gorgeous. I would highly recommend the walk from the parque Maria Luisa to the Seville mushroom which takes in beautiful architecture and lovely shaded narrow streets full of shops and restaurants. That was definitely the highlight of our stay. I would also recommend the aquarium. The downside of Seville is the extreme heat which is very sapping. You need to plan trips early in the morning when it is cooler and do like the Spanish and rest in the afternoon.

    Seville visit was simply a great experience. Many fabulous attractions, particularly Plaza de Espana which is magnificent. The Cathedral is just awesome. We did the bus tour twice and this gives a very taste of the city as a whole

    Location was great, the staff were very helpful, my room was comfortable, utilitarian and clean. Plenty of (solar powered) hot water so well done there. A great base for exploring Seville’s old town. The only downside, and this was not the hotel’s fault, was that the internet was down for the first three days. I really felt for the reception staff as their phones and booking system couldn’t be accessed. It must have made their jobs almost impossible.

    This hotel is conveniently located right in the old town, with plenty of delicious restaurants right downstairs, and it's a 10-15 minute walk to several of Seville's tourist attractions. The front desk stuffs also thoughtfully gave a map of the city, plus, since this was my honeymoon, the hotel even gave us a little gift of wine, which was so appreciated, and definitely the most surprising part of my whole trip!

    The hotel was in a good, central location, but was very quiet inside. Our room was very comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were given a voucher for a welcome cocktail on arrival. The breakfast was amazing, the best we had on our tour of Spain, so many choices! I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Seville.
