Mostly residencial, with facilities and restaurants more or less in the same area. Various small scale supermarkets throughout. Easy parking. Overall good location as it is in the middle of the island on the south coast, and can go in all directions from there. A great unspoiled resort which hasn't really changed since we last visited 20 years ago. The Es Jardí des Temple restaurant was very good. The staff were polite and friendly and the food was professionally presented. The beach is the best I've ever visited. It stretches for over a kilometer, the sand is clean and the water is crystal clear. For a beach holiday, you can't go wrong.
