On the front desk of the parador there was a leaflet showing the fiesta events in Tavèrnoles. We really enjoyed seeing the village, the crafts and meeting some lovely people and children. A little out of the way, but with beautiful views of the valley of a national park. As a parador, one has to laugh as it is a bit "official" and seemingly last decorated, nicely, but quite a while ago. It reminded me of hotels in Eastern Europe. Large, well equipped room with a balcony that gave you a fantastic view over the surrounding mountains. The restaurant delivered excellent dinners and the biggest breakfast buffet we had ever seen.
