Talara is a small village in the Lecrin valley surrounded by...
Talara is a small village in the Lecrin valley surrounded by mountains. It is not a touristy village - most of the people you see there live there all year round. It has 3 good supermarkets, a post office, garage, two excellent bars which also serve food, and a couple of other bars/pizza restaurant that I didn't visit. It is in a beautiful area with great walks nearby and lots of small villages with their own character. There is a huge reservoir nearby with amazing views. There is a bus service but not very frequent so a car would open up lots of day trips to the surrounding villages and walks. Granada and the coast are about 30 minutes drive away.
