We had a lovely stay in Barcelo- we have been upgraded at no extra charge to the Royal program. The room was specious and clean with a beautiful view facing the ocean, all of the facilities including gym are well maintained, the food and service were excellent. I would definitely come back.

Absolutely loved everything about this place - never done an AI but joined my daughter/baby/9 year old grandson/son in law for a few days break. Everything was beautiful, the bedding/cleanliness of the rooms were 2nd to none, the general cleanliness and tidying was absolutely constant around the site, credit to every single member of staff on this aspect! Ok, so it was a breakfast/lunch buffet type arrangement which is more than adequate during the day with little ones, I thought the quality and choice absolutely lovely; something for every age group here, nice healthy food as well, which can be a bit of a struggle during the day. We didn't eat on site during the evenings; being so near to all the lovely eateries and beachfront cafes, it would have been a shame, plus a change of scenery is nice. The entertainment for the children was non stop and my grandson thoroughly enjoyed it. I just could not find anything negative at all and hope my daughter invites me back again when they return in May!!

The outdoor area is very pleasant, it has potential for being a very good resort in all the areas. The olympic swimming pool was also great (just a bit cold). The original booking we did was a studio room that had a very unpleasant (humidity) smell (and I am pregnant so you can imagine how sensitive smells can be), so we were lucky there was another room available, and we managed to change without much problem.

    This was our second year staying at a villa at playa roca,...

    This was our second year staying at a villa at playa roca, we have completely fallen in love with Costa Teguise for our family. We love the restaurants as they are a very good standard and the cost is also good. Definitely much cheaper than eating out in the UK. Love the evening entertainment with live singers in very spacious bars and the cost of cocktails are definitely half the price of UK prices. There is a beautiful walk around the resort where you have cyclists, e scooters , walkers and wheelchair users and it is lit in the evening. We have walked this at midnight and love the fact you never feel unsafe. There are lots of play areas for young children and it’s definitely a family oriented resort. They offer water sports at the beach like windsurfing and other water sports. The party people often tend to be in Puerto del carmen which keeps this resort so family friendly and safe.

    Visited many occasions! not sure why its just grabbed me and cant really point out the exact reason but we go back each year and really look forward to it. you can sit at a bar and everyone moves around to accommodate you and then you can start chatting and having a great night with strangers! Food choices exceptional, great relaxed vibe and plenty of choice for all ages. Beach lovely albeit they have been having problems on the beach beds over the years and on several occasions, and as in our latest visit, they are not on the sand; which is a shame as i like a day on the beach! Stayed in hotels and self catering and there is always loads of choices on what kind of holiday you want.

    Our first visit to Costa Teguise but it won’t be our last. We stayed at Playa Bastian on a lovely complex but only a short walk into the main town area. We found some amazing restaurants and great bars. Costa Teguise is a great place for couples and families, though maybe nit the best if you want a busy nightlife,

    I didn't love Costa Teguise and wish I stayed on another part of the island as lots of it felt like I was just at home with other people from the UK - with foods I would find in the UK, etc - I wanted a bit of. different adventure.

    We visit Costa Teguise regularly, we have done so for more than ten years now. It's a very relaxing place to go with lots of nice bars, restaurants and shops. There is a nice long walk along the seaside which we try to do every morning. Our favourite time of year to visit is November. Although there is plenty to do in the evenings, it's not somewhere for clubbing and suits us fine as it means the place is closer to our our age profile and doesn't have large groups of loud people.

    I love the fact that it is a quieter resort than some of the others - all the bars and music are there if you want it but not in your face. I love the coastline and the small beaches and coves. Some lovely local restaurants especially La Aulaga, and a lovely bakery called Damien's nearby.

    We were all inclusive and the royal level food was definitely better than your typical all inclusive buffet. The rooms were clean and the air conditioning worked very well. There was a bus stop right outside the hotel which you could use to go into Costa Teguise or Arrecife.
