Gorgeous apartment and cute location a bit out of the center of Tejeda. The view from the bedroom window was spectacular and very much so enjoyed the freshly prepared breakfast. María was so sweet and a pleasure to chat with. Would have loved to stay longer than 1 night had we had more time on the island. Definitely recommend if you’d like a bit more privacy. Also great place to be based out of for hiking in the area. Recommend bringing some cozy clothes & socks as it gets chillier in the mountains in the evening/morning.     Mountain town with beautiful surroundings. Many restaurants. On new years day only a few of them were open. Maybe the restaurant we choose was understaffed, we had to cancel our orders after waiting for more than an hour, without getting anything to eat.

    Tejeda is surrounded by great walks in complex scenery.

    Tejeda is surrounded by great walks in complex scenery. The village is located in a giant 20km diameter volcanic caldera with many rocky ridges around. The historic village is lovely, with lots of public parking available. Do leave plenty of time to travel there though as the roads to get there are tortuous, narrow, winding and slow. Therefore it's well worth staying a few nights in the place. Amazing and unusual place, well worth visiting.

    The mountain guide, Piergiorgio Pallara, chose a fantastic route for a pleasant hike near Tejeda. Another day we hiked from Texada Hostal to Artenara. After a day of hiking we enjoyed fine meals in Tejada’s restaurants.

    Tejeda is one of the most beautiful villages on the island.

    Tejeda is one of the most beautiful villages on the island. There's plenty of restaurants - also open in the evening (which is not obvious as a lot of them close at 17:00) and one of the best "dulcerias" of Gran Canaria.

    Set high up in the mountains Tejeda provides fabulous views of the surrounding mountains and rock features. It is also a good base to explore the whole island and the towns and views it offers. The bars and restaurants offer a good range of Canarian dishes. The main street is laid out as a precinct with some moving traffic with stunning balcony views of the surrounds.

    Beautiful town, loads of trails for hiking and running. Some really nice eateries and especially the famous almond dulcerias - come early in the morning as they get pretty busy in the middle of the day!

    A lovely holiday flat in the centre of Tejeda with views to die for!!! The flat had everything you could need and we loved the views from the small balcony. We had a week of superb weather and did some stunning hikes. The area is brilliant for walking with very good signposting. You can get to Tejeda by bus and the village has a shop, pharmacy, bank and numerous restaurants including very extensive cake shop.

    Wonderful location with a beautiful view on the mountains and a spacious terrace. Very quiet - no cars passing by. Perfect if you go for a hiking holiday. A bit outside, but within walking distance (1,5km) from Tejeda, which is one of the most beautiful villages on Gran Canaria. Miriam as a host is awesome. She spontaneously reaches out via mail on a regular base to verify if all is OK.

    We made a very late booking at 19.30 and despite the late arrival, the owners father was so welcoming, and kind.. The accommodation is in a beautiful place with far reaching views.. The apartment is very well designed and has all you need for a break in Tejeda. A loveky quiet spot to explore the area.. great restaurants and a supermarket.

    The location of the apartment is absolutely perfect right off the square of Tejeda and close to all the cafes and restaurants. It's a traditional Canarian apartment and was well equipped. Beds were comfy and everything was clean.
