Unfortunately, the stay did not match the images and descriptions shown on Booking.com and the hotel’s website. Specifically: The photos give the impression of a hotel with direct, unobstructed sea views, which was not the case in reality. Instead, there is a public parking lot and a busy boat docking area in front of the hotel, significantly obstructing the view. Really didn't expect such a high quality resort. homely, and safe. good variety of excellent restaurants, and shops, access to the beach and water was so easy. So pretty and even though it was July it didn't feel too busy, nice boat trips available and of course the beautiful castle to explore. Tossa de Mar is the best beach on the Costa Brava. Go in May or June when there are fewer people — July and August are very crowded. You can swim near the shore and go snorkeling to see plenty of fish, or start an adventure by going diving. This is a picture perfect destination on the Costa Brava. Great little restaurants, beautiful beach and historic points of interest. We had 3 full days there and could have stayed longer. Location is amazing, on a quiet street away from the main drag, but 1 only minute walk to the cala and the old city walls and maybe 3 min walk to the main beach. Many restaurants nearby to eat.
