Small town in the Sierra Nevada. Narrow Streets - and several restaurants (restaurant Fragua is highly recommended!) Well situated for dat hiking - potentially strenous, say 800 vertical meters in 6-7 km. (some 15% climb) -areas with snow in June. Try the Ham Museum as well!Guest review byJohnDenmark - 6.0

Nice village but we preferred Capeleira, Pampaniera and Bubion where were not so far away from Granada and the coast. On the plus side, there were very few tourists in Trevelez whereas the other villages of Las Alpujarras had more tourists.Guest review byDavidSpain - 8.0

I felt very welcome and well looked after by them. Their food is yummy. They even lent me a backpack to do a day hike more comfortably. The hostel is brand new and they keep it beautiful and clean.
