Hotel in Vejer de la Frontera
In the heart of Medieval Vejer de la Frontera, Hotel La Casa del Califa features a rooftop bar-terrace with beautiful views. Unique facilities include a map room and an award-winning restaurant. This must be the most interesting hotel I have ever stayed at, every detail so well thought of and a great location in the main square of Vejer. We had dinner at the restaurant within the hotel (Jardin del Califa) and this was one of the best meals of our trip - my vegetable tajine was delicious. Breakfast is also served there - I’m a vegan and there was a great selection for me too. I would definitely love to stay again at La Casa del Califa!

This small luxury hotel is located in the historic Old Town of Vejer de la Frontera, one of the most charming white towns of the Costa de la Luz. The V... The views of the town and surrounding countryside from the hotel was breathtaking. The remake of the old building into the hotel was perfect in my opinion. Hotel Nómadas has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, bar, a shared lounge and garden in Vejer de la Frontera. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. The host was amazing. Very good communication and on the end of a WhatsApp message at any time. We only did a quick stop over but could see the potential this place has in normal non covid situation. It is way better than a 2 star grading! Our room was very clean. It is a basic room with basic facilities but with all you could need. Modern decor and perfect for our nights stay. No extras like hairdryer and satellite TV but if you know in advance you can take a USB with films especially if kids are with you. Bed was very comfortable. Very quiet area and easy to get to. I hope this hotel survives the pandemic as I wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

Hotel Sindhura, Hotel Ritual El Palmar-Adults Only, and La Botica de Vejer got great room view-related reviews from travelers in Vejer de la Frontera.
Many families visiting Vejer de la Frontera loved staying at Hotel Sindhura, La Botica de Vejer, and Hotel Hacienda Montenmedio.
The location, the garden, the roof top was amazing! The studio could be a littler better equipped with a table and 2 chairs to have dinner inside (if it is raising we have to it from the bed). But apart from those details we had a good time there for 6 days
Small medieval town on top of a hill full of history and not far from beaches. Do not try to park in the centre. Free parking areas below the centre, but a rather steep climb on uneven walkway with steps. It is worth it!
The Oficina de Turismo is one of the best sofar encountered in Andalusia with a wealth of information on bird and fish migration, whale watching and the town highlights. Very friendly and caring staff.
A very pretty white washed village. Lots of shops and restaurants but all very traditional. Amazing views. Lovely people. Easy to get to and parking was very easy. We got a taxi into Vejer the night before. There were plenty available.
Just had an overnight here. Stayed in El Cobijo ... brilliant coutyard and individualised rooms, with a fab breakfast. Ate in El Jardin de Califa; shared tasty kibbels and tagra tagine with a side of coucous. Absolutely delicious! Found it's terrace for a coffee and brandy. Many places closed ... it is November. But, tour parties were there, too! There is a little theatre. Also in a couple of bars. Really enjoyed visit. Hope to return, next year even though it's hilly!
Vejer de la Frontera is a breathtaking little village situated on top of a mountain. Only when nearly at the top you can see it fully in all its beauty. The whiteness of the houses is nearly painful for the eyes when the sun shines, such white are they. People are friendly but not in any exceptional way. The food is good, there are lots of small bars and tabernas where to eat delicious local food and taste local wines and other beverages. It is quite small, so 2 days are enough to visit it fully and have time to relax and chill out. There are also lots of walking tours from Vejer, with different length and difficulties. It is definitely a place I highly reccomend.
Vejer de la Frontera
Love love love this place. It was definitely the best hotel I stayed in during my trip. It was beautifully decorated with a relaxed vibe. Rooms were clean and well equipped. We had a balcony facing a quiet street, I took a very nice nap with the ceiling fan on and the balcony door open. There was a pantry stocked with fresh fruits, a coffee machine and cookies/cakes, and also a lovely courtyard to enjoy it in. The owner was very nice and helpful. Overall I just had such a relaxing and restful time...thoroughly enjoyed my experience!

Vejer de la Frontera
Warmly welcomed, which included a glass of vino. While they didnt speak english, they were still able to communicated effectively. Nice view over the town from the patio/external lounge area. The home made breakfast was outstanding. Lots of quaint arts and crafts used as decoration, and for the crockery

Vejer de la Frontera
Loved this apartment. Could not fault it. Wish we were staying more than one night. Spotlessly clean and Alvaro was absolutely lovely. Perfect host. Facilities were great, and the rooftop terrace was beautiful. 10/10 for location too.
Vejer de la Frontera
I like that it is a simple but elegant place. There is no unnecessary piece of furniture, but also no lack of anything. The street is a quite one, in the middle of the historic part of town.
Vejer de la Frontera
Our host was so helpful and welcoming, we bought the lovely fresh eggs and had bread delivered to our door, the scenery is stunning and very handy for the bar down the road
