This charming guest house is located right on the Camino de Santiago, opposite the Santa María Church in Carrión de los Condes. It offers rooms with attached bathroom and an excellent restaurant. Rooms are simple but totally adequate. Excellent restaurant is open for dinner from 7.30pm. This is unusual in Spain and suits a British 'constitution'. We visit La Corte once or twice a year going between Santander and Vigo and are always made most welcome.
Hostal Santiago is set in Carrión de los Condes center and offers easy access to the A-231 Highway leading to both Burgos and León. There is a garden with free barbecue facilities. Good bathroom. Comfortable. Lovely location on the camino. Nice staff got water for me when I arrived.
Casa Tia Paula is set in Carrión de los Condes, on the Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage Route. These rustic apartments offer free Wi-Fi, a free laundry service and bike storage. Of course Jacuzzi is such a luxury for pilgrims ... Location although is opposite side of the river but can easyly walk to town. Easy continue your camino the next day. I'll recommend all the pilgrims.. rest and make Casa Tia Paula and town of Carrion De Las Condes as your best town and place to rest!! Fully recommended.
Set in a former monastery in Carrion de los Condes, the hotel is located near to the Santiago pilgrimage route. Rooms in Hotel Real Monasterio de San Zoilo look onto the beautiful gardens. The experience of visiting a sleeping in a real monastery was amazing and worth the money. The place is beautiful, interesting and we felt great to have the possibility to walk around the premises. It's like a maze where you can find something to tease your curiosity at every little corner. It's a type of hotel you don't get to experience very often - with huge historic value and at the same time luxurious feeling. The room was big and the bathroom clean and tidy. We are happy with the comfort of the beds. Exploring the place was a great addition to the value. Once again, we are happy that we stayed there!
Located between Burgos and León, on the Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage Route, this rural hotel offers free internet access and a 24-hour reception. Each room includes flat-screen TV and a balcony. It is a family-run business and the people wer extremely friendly and helpful. The food was traditional home cooked food and it was delicious.
Ideal overnight stop in very pretty hamlet, perfect local small bar/restaurant, good rooms and showers, efficient friendly staff, buzzy atmosphere in season with lots of walkers/cyclists travelling the Camino de Santiago.
There's a cute looking village plaza. Not much going on, though. The bar / café staff gives the impression that you're too much trouble. The church charges for entry. There is a good macaroon baker. I'd carry on to Carrión De Los Condes, as most pilgrims appear to. Good shops & services there and a variety of cafés
In winter, this hotel is the heart and soul of the village: run by a nice family; open morning, afternoon, and evening to supply good, simple but delicious food to travelers and local people. My room looked out on the entrance to Villasirga’s spectacular church.
