As Vinas is in a great spot. Surrounded by farmland, rolling hills, and pretty old houses. It is a few miles outside the beautiful city of Viveiro but connected via a beautiful, well-maintained river walk. One night I took the walk into town during a gorgeous sunset, had a fantastic dinner, then returned to As Vinas after dinner in a taxi, which are easy to find and plentiful in Viveiro. Make sure to wake up hungry! The breakfast at As Vinas is AWESOME. Toast, 3-4 home-made jellies, fruit from their garden, freshly-squeezed orange juice, delicious coffee, home-made breakfast cake, and more! Definitely a treat. I definitely will come back to As Vinas!

A good location for a relaxing holiday in Lago, Hotel Os Faroles playa de Esteiro is a guest house surrounded by views of the mountain.

The location is peaceful and has a spectacular view. My hotel room was cozy. The restaurant has awesome food. The staff are charming and interesting. I plan to go back again soon, when I can spend more time there.

Nice clean and peaceful Oasis at the end of the day. Very warm welcome from the hotelera. Felt very safe as a solo traveler and she was prepared to give sight seeing advice and stamp for pilgrims.

We loved our one night stay at Las Palomas. The room was exceptional, bright, clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. Our hosts who also managed the bar/restaurant downstairs were welcoming and friendly, speaking to us in English for which we were grateful. Las Palomas is a family run business, our hosts were the proud third generation of the family. We were introduced to other members of the family, including Dad. This made us feel very welcome in Espasante. We enjoyed our breakfast in the morning. Our bicycles were easily accommodated by our hosts.

Our room faced the back and it was absolutely quiet, with no road noise. Friendly staff. Great shower. And coffee was served at 0630!
