This is an amazing place. Acomodation was simply great for families with children and even couple or group of friends. Host was extremely helpful and very responsive to help and guide. The best in Imatra are the wonderful sand beaches and the lakes. It is EASY to get there if you have a car. The best place to eat is the Buttenhoff restaurant in the center. We also had a lunch in a nice restaurant/ Café Sula right next to the river Vuoksi. Unfortunately Imatra is suffering from lack of tourists and many shops in the center are empty, if people could put their art /photos on the windows the center would be nicer.
