Hotel in Inari
Located right by the shores of Lake Inari, Wilderness Hotel Inari & Igloos provides accommodations and activities. This was one of the very best places we stayed on our whole trip. The cabins are well-equipped and comfortable, with good views, excellent saunas, and easy access to the beautiful, refreshing lake. The breakfast was phenomenal and the staff very helpful. If I could go back and stay anywhere for much longer, it would be here. The shared but private igloo sauna was also amazing,

Hotel in Inari
This peaceful, family-run hotel is located by Inari’s Juutuanjoki Rapids, 2625 feet from the Sami Museum. Its restaurant offers seasonal dishes and river views. It was an amazing experience staying here and the best part about this hotel was the aurora camera that is fitted on the the roof and sitting in the room I could monitor and only then I would have to go out rather than just waiting outside in the cold.

Inari
Lake Inari Mobile Cabins offer glass bedrooms allowing guests impressive views of the arctic surroundings and if lucky enough, the Northern Lights. I liked everything about my stay there starting from how friendly the people are to how unique the experience is of staying the night in a mobile cabin in the middle of a frozen lake. many thanks to Sampsa, Esko and his wife in making our stay an unforgettable experience. They made us feel like home, arranged for us an activity (snow mobile) to do in the evening and prepared a very delicious barbecue dinner in front of a nice fireplace
Inari
Located in Inari in the Lapland region, Youth Center Vasatokka has accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking. Everything was perfect. The staff was super friendly, the place was clean, location is 10km out of inari but with a car it's no problem. Staff offered a lot of activities, including ice fishing, skiingg, snowshoe hike etc -proper winter clothing could also be rented. We made sausages in the fireplace next to the sauna, rolling in the snow during saunasessions is optional (it was an interesting new experience though). Necessary corona-related changes were made to the accomodation to ensure a safe stay. I genuinely hope people will still come to this place during their Lapland trip. All the best to the staff!

Pretty little town, beautiful nature, very few people in the streets. Northern lights!! Not many places to eat or to go out to, but it wasn't a problem for us. There's also a big museum and a cultural center there, hotels, a souvenir shop and supermarkets, and generally many things specially for the tourists. There is apparently no public bus going between Inari and the Ivalo airport (only Inari and the Ivalo town), but it's possible to book a shuttle bus.
the Wilderness hotel was fantastic. We love to hike and there are quite a few nice hikes in the area. The museum was very impressive and certainly worthwhile a visit. The restaurant at the hotel was very good and we ate there every night of our stay. Highly recommended!
We stayed at Hotel Inari. View over huge lake from hotelroom and restaurant - and you can walk by foot or snowshoes or skis on the lake or ride snow mobile. Mini villlage, totally quiet, yet supermarket just across the road and tours in the area starting next door without any disturbance. Nice room, good breakfast though a bit crowded for Covid conditions at least at rush time (9 am) and probably winter holiday in Finland. Much much better to go to Inari than to Ivalo. Very friendly and helpful people, and many wonderful tours available.
Kind of remote town middle of nowhere, next to lake Inari. Not much to do if you'd like to downhill skiing or party but if one likes nature, calmness and clean, healthy atmosphere, then Inari is beautiful place. Especially during winter months. Dogsled rides, cross country skiing or such.
Hiking / Otsamo Fine dining in Hotel Inari and Restaurant Aanaar Siida Sami museum and nature centre Sami Cultural center Sajos with nice cafeteria and tasty lunch Buy beautiful silver jewelry in Inarin Hopea
Great nature, great restaurant Aanaar (be sure to book in advance), lovely reindeer meet from Jounin poro, great handcraft shops (ami avellan, siida and sajos shops), interesting cruises on Lake Inari and the Sajos sami center and Siida museum (please note that the museum will be under reconstruction soon and will open on 30.4.2021). Karajok - Utsjoki road along Teno river (voted for most beautiful road in Finland) and Kevo National Park close By.
Inari
We loved our stay in the Arctic Nature Lodge and really enjoyed the peace and quiet. The house was very clean and comfortable and well equipped. Everything you need can be found here. We are four adults and absolutely had enough space. It is beautifully located directly at Lake Inari and perfectly accessible. If we needed anything, Silja and Mathieu always answered real quick and were of great help. Can more than recommend this place, especially when looking for a peaceful timeout. P.s.: Don’t be put off by the few reviews!
Ivalo
Great staff. They guided us to an extraordinary location for spotting the Northern lights, and we did! Perfect apartment with everything you need. I just loved the way they were prepared for my one year old - perfect crib and kid-friendly moomin cutleries. Beds are extraordinarily comfy - top class — 5 star hotel level. Proper siZed kitchen. Larger than traditional kitchens. A minute walk from the hypermarket. Whole apartment is so clean and exactly the same as you see in the pictures.
I think that the hotel has some really good cooks employed. Breakfast as well as the dinner were just delicious. The ambiance of the hotel is excellent, being located in the remote wilderness of Lemmenjoki and its surroundings. Hiking, canoeing, swimming, sauna, etc all right at your fingertips. The hotel itself radiates hiking atmosphere so the facilities are not the usual hotel type, but more of a log cabin type.
Inari
Beautiful location, next to the lake! We were supposed to be in a bungalow but ended up in an Aurora hut, it was awesome! New, beautifully decorated, with big windows through which we could watch northern lights...just perfect! The staff is the best you could wish for! The reception was closed but we had contacts with them via messages and phone calls which was very convenient.
Inari
Experience of sleeping on the lake was amazing, but staff made this trip even more excellent. Everyone was so helpful, welcoming, and had fun stories or tips to tell. Would highly recommend staying here for a unique experience!
the service is excellent and staff very friendly! second oldest hotel in Finland. the restaurant is a must, compliments to the chef! absolute value for money in a country where a lot of tourist services are heavily overpriced!
cozy, clean, quiet, by the magical Inari lake, incredibly nice staff! I would love to come back !! I highly recommend this hotel, like all other Wilderness Hotels, too!!
+sauna in the room. Its got hot in about 1 hour +good wifi in the number +good view to the lake +very good hotel restaurant at first floor
Inari
Beautiful house with view over the lake. Kitchen is well equipped. From Inari we walked the juutua trial, we recommend to do this.
Calm location and a beautiful cabin. A little bit off the large roads, but perfect for experiencing Lapland.
Inari
Spotless clean, huge kitchen, plenty of space and superb view! Just in front of Lake Inari.
