Excellent location close to nature with the gorgeous Linnunlahti beach very close, but at the same time the city center is just a short bike ride away. Very good facilities (including a private sauna!) and friendly service. They rent out bicycles which is really nice for those without a car. It was a really good place to stay with kids.

We had an excellent stay here at this hotel. It is across the way from the train station, so it is very convenient. The hotel is large and the rooms are modern and clean. We had great breakfasts and also visited the hotel's sauna for an extra 15 euros. It had two hot tubs, a cold tub, sauna, steam room, and an "experience" shower not to be missed. A great hotel!

Docent's Flat is a recently renovated apartment in Joensuu where guests can make the most of the free bikes and garden.

Location near the marketplace and waterfront are perfect. There is a shared kitchenette on every floor with plenty of refrigerator room (microwave but no stove). The beds are more comfortable than most others we experienced.

This hotel is by Joensuu’s main square and 1640 feet from Joensuu Central Station. It has 3 restaurants, a bar and a night club. Free sauna, hot tub and WiFi access is included.

Vaakuna is a good choice when staying in Joensuu as it is centrally located and offers all the comforts. We enjoyed our stay and will return.
