A very nice place to stay away from big crowds in the middle of the nature. The house is beautiful, there is a lot of space, nice sauna, big terrace facing nature, great privacy. Communication was smooth, check-in easy. I definitely recommend!

    Mathildedal is a lovely village - one of its kind and one we enjoy visiting. There are numerous places to eat, or stay, yet the atmosphere is peaceful and quiet. There is a large boat tourists can ride in to the islands, there is a waterwheel, museum, old homes which have been updated beautifully, delightful little boutiques and store where alpaca wools are gathered and used to make wonderful warm clothes. There is even an outdoor theatre there. The foods and clothes sold there are mostly cultivated in the area. We ate in one of the restaurants and the food was served graciously and nicely. We enjoyed taking quiet walks in the gardens and trails.
