There is a nice atmosphere, not too hectic. There are plenty of places to see nearby. It's a good base for travel further afield. There are some great restaurants and just simple places with nice atmosphere, people are always friendly and helpful. Taxis we used were cheap and safe. Near airport is the major reason for being here.
Near airport is the major reason for being here. Denerau is the draw card for most tourists staying in the area. Public busses good but won't get you everywhere. Not that much of a tourist attraction in itself. More a staging point. People friendly and helpful.Guest review bySeanAustralia - 6.0
Nadi is quite like a normal city.
Nadi is quite like a normal city. Everything which was worth a visit was expensive . I feel island hopping is the best way to travel around fiji. Suva was another city we visited, again nothing special about it. Best to keep itinerary restricted to islands but it’s expensive as hell.Guest review byAnjali

Since we've discovered the Fiji Gateway Hotel, we've been staying here when we are in Nadi. The rooms are very clean and well insulated for a good sleep after a flight. The beds are really comfortable, too. The staff are so welcoming and helpful each time.
