I particularly liked watching the birds feeding at low tide and watching the wonderful sunsets. The location was quiet and convenient. We walked into the village for groceries and dinner, and we walked to the ferry for our trip to Mykines. Parking was right around the corner and in view from our cottage. Right on the waterfront, you can see the Mikines ferry coming and going. We stayed there to catch a morning flight and went to airport on foot (30 min, uphill). The airport is very quiet si we didn't hear any planes. Also well suited before it after a trip to Mikines.
