The Easter feria is a good time to visit Arles, although food and service can be as low as 'poor'. Plenty of culture from Roman ruins to street bands. Excellent and elegant Museum of Arles. Wonderful street market on Saturdays with high quality goods. Shops, ranging from very high end local produce and clothing, to convenience stores, most open all (public holiday) weekend.

The receptionist spoke perfect English and was very helpful in showing me the bus routes on the map. Free parking is always a plus in France. The room was very large and although it didn't have all the amenities like shampoo and hand lotion, on the other hand it was very inexpensive and a good place for a quiet overnight stop convenient to public transportation into Arles City center.
