Excellent location, very quiet and calm. Very good restaurant in the same hotel building. We were in low season, so there were not many opportunities to eat. You should book in advance the lunch and dinner. Rooms are exactly as described, perfectly fit our expectations. There is no lift, so think about the luggage.

Also, they have a huge shower, the room is modern and new, the bed is super comfortable and there is air conditioning, very rare in Correze and Lot ! if you like biking, whether easy road or difficult MTB, it is the place for you. in particular there are almost no cars on several back roads, and some of these follow the river Dordogne..... Beaulieu and all the neighboring villages are a masterpiece of beauty, because everything is so ancient and all in stone..... and the people are super kind and polite.
Location was huge plus point to this hotel. food was good but breakfasts rather ordinary. Surprised they used the excuse of the pandemic not to clean the rooms during our 3 night stay. They did say if we wanted to have clean towels we must ask. We had family camping on the island just across the bridge so it was very convenient.
Not a lot of restaurant options or shops, but worth a stop-over if you’re going in that direction. We did a kayak trip on the Dordogne which was great fun and well organised. The 2 Logis hotels both offer good food.
Excellent location in the town centre but peaceful. Good for visiting the surrounding towns and countryside of the Dordogne River Valley. Beaulieu has a very old part in the town which is very pretty and the riverside areas are beautiful.
Tiny fortified town still exists in a curve of the toddler Dordogne. Pretty houses, interesting walk, cats and bats in the evening and generally friendly, we had Gallettes at the Creperie. The old buildings are nestled into the newer 18 centuary ines into a harmonious whole and the river is very all, rage even so early in its route.
Historic town with outstanding Romanesque abbey church and impressive sculpture--esp. The main portal with Last Judgement. Also fine medieval and Renaissance houses and streets and pleasant river with boats
The very central location of the hotel makes it a unique spot in town. It faces the riverside and is located in the historic part of town. We loved the restaurant which serves great food and a nice selection of wines. The terrace faces the riverside and is a nice spot to have a drink. The restaurant service was good.
The hotel has an amazing atmosphere of old times, you feel the history. We were upgraded to a premium room and so enjoyed a spacious terrace too. Room was very comfortable and clean. The lady at reception was quite welcoming when we arrived.
Breakfast not very imaginative or exciting. Location of this hotel is superb overlooking the river.
