The staff were very warm and welcoming. We requested breakfast earlier on a Sunday morning because we needed to get going and they were more than happy to help The restaurant was excellent. The room was lovely bright and airy with a spacious bathroom.

Not just a drive-through but a place to stay for a week or even a month to unwind, relax, rejuvenate. The whole crew is wonderful, caring, and fun and they feel like family. Super comfortable beds, air conditioning (!!!), wonderful breakfast and dinner menus, workout and yoga room (with ability to get a personal trainer), lovely swimming pool surrounded by lush green landscape and views of the Pyrenees, massage, relaxing living room and outdoor dining. AND it's only a 15 minute drive to Pau city center. What more do you need?

Quiet and peaceful with great views and wonderful hospitality from our hosts. Both the room and the bathroom were clean, spacious and well appointed. We arrived on our bicycles, after a hot day of riding. Our bicycles were safely stored in the garage, we then had a swim, followed by a cold beer by the pool. We then met the extended family, three dogs, one cat, seven donkeys and the chickens. Our lovely host provided us with dinner, which we had requested the day before. Breakfast the next morning was served outside by the pool. We were able to have breakfast at 7:30 which was much to our liking. Thank you for a lovely stay.

EVERY THING!!! The Transhumance was an exceptional experience. Im not sure how I discovered Bedoús but I think we were meant to find this beautiful village and amazing hotel. It was comfortable, clean, charming and truly relaxing. We ate at the restaurant the night we arrived (highly recommend!) and we treated ourselves to an hour at the spa… the stars at night are gorgeous and breakfast is delicious. Wonderful and caring staff too!

Contemporary in design, the hotel is located in the center of Pau, on the edge of the Parc Beaumont.

Loved everything. Fantastic hosts who did everything to make our stay as relaxing as possible. We were weary walkers and Jo Made sure we had snacks, drinks and a marvelous view. Our dinner fed our tired bodies and their generosity filled our souls. The bed and hot shower perfect. A fantastic stop for a pelerin less than 1km from the Chemin. Worth the extra 900 meters and the host took us back to the chemin the next morning so we didn't have to walk extra. in addition, we had a bag transport and the host made sure it arrived and also departed the following day. Highly recommend this hilltop maison. I would love to go back! sad it was too cool to use the pool.
