Located 1.2 mi from the sea and 1.1 mi from the train station, ibis Boulogne sur Mer Center Cathédrale is a 24-hour reception hotel with a snack bar and rooms with an LCD, satellite TV. Hotel Hamiot is located in Boulogne-Sur-Mer City Center, a 12-minute walk from Nausicaá National Sea Center and from the beach. Free WiFi access is provided. The location by the water and the very typical no-frills brasserie beneath. The hotel is functional and comfortable, with that air of a traditional small French hotel. Quiet room.
Au Sleeping is minutes from the train station and center of Boulogne sur Mer. Each room in this family-run hotel has satellite TV, tea and coffee and a private shower. The room was clean and tidy, beds comfy, bar was reasonable, barman spoke English, which helped all round. Breakfast was good, proprietor present, courteous, and spoke French slowly so I could translate. FRENCH BAR CUSTOMERS WERE FRIENDLY WHEN WE ARRIVED AND SHOOK HANDS. Bar prices reasonable. It is two star but very good two star and handy for the motorway and the town centre with outside on street parking. Nothing to fear!

The old town has nice restaurants and cafes. Interesting walls and basilica also interesting history around the wars. The rest of town seems very depressed and shabby , poor shopping dirty streets. The local council needs to get a grip and sort it out the place could be really nice iwith a bit of tlc
Great city. Tons of things to see and do - cathedral, ramparts, shopping, bunkers, Nausicaa aquarium, views of Dover, ocean sunsets, and more. Spending time at boulogne sur mer was highlight of trip in Europe.
We arrived on a Sunday and stayed for 3 nights. Many restaurants were closed for the first 2 days, but we did manage to find a couple of decent places. When everything is open, the world's your oyster (literally). Really good seafood available everywhere. Would like to go back again in the summer.
Stayed in Boulogne-sur-Mer overnight en-route to the Channel Tunnel and didn't have time to do more than walk along the quayside (enjoyable), so cannot comment on its attractions. It was also a Sunday night, so most places were closed. Had a good evening meal in a restaurant that I'd eaten in before on a previous overnighter. Very limited choices on a Sunday night in off-season Boulogne!

The property is in the heart of the old town, just steps from the ramparts, castle, town center and downtown areas. Emanuel has restored this home to be very comfortable and spacious. We were surprised to find we had the entire home to ourselves. On top of the complimentary bottle of wine, Emanuel also provided a breakfast that was made with care and featured many local and country specific items. Our expectations were far exceeded!

The location was great, right in the middle of the quaint little old town. There was everything we needed in the flat. Really lovely decor and cosy feel to the place. Communication from the owner about check in and check out was very clear.

It was conveniently located. The rooms were basic but very clean and quiet. We came to Boulogne to celebrate a birthday on a Eurotunnel overnight stay with a dinner at a Michelin Star restaurant. The hotel was the perfect budget option.

Typical older style French hotel, like the old days before the Chains took over. Room was very basic but lovely and clean. Loved being served breakfast instead of the buffet style. Madam & Monsieur very friendly.
