The hotel is very very clean, quiet and comfortable. There is everything you need (a fridge, a kettle, AC which has several modes and is very very quiet, extra pillows). The staff including the cleaning ladies are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located on a big street but not on the main noisy and crowded street so it is very suitable if you want to rest and not hear loud tourists at night. It is within a walking distance to everything (the supermarket is 50 metres away, bakeries and cafes are right near the hotel, the beach is about a 12-minute walk).

    We stayed in Haut-de-Cagnes rather than Cagnes sur Mer. Beautiful hilltop village with swifts swooping through the narrow cobbled streets at dusk. In Cagnes-sur-Mer itself, bars and restaurants don't seem to be open all that often? Can be difficult to park in Haut de Cagnes. The village is close to the hubbub of the coast, yet still relatively tranquil.

    Lovely place, LOADS to do on the see front. Great location with easy access to the motorway which opens up loads of fantastic locations in the area. Be aware of the traffic. the scooter riders in particular are mental. We've encountered a few quite suicidal I might say. If you're renting a car from the airport, I might say the the extra insurance is worth it. It's almost impossible to find a local car undamaged.

    People are very friendly everywhere (except some bus drivers). Most people switch to English and are ready to help if necessary. The service is also very good everywhere. The place is not a party location, more for families and people who would like to have a quiet vacation. There are modern coffee places (Fragile, Copenhagen coffee lab) in addition to more traditional brasseries and boulangeries. Wine by glass is tasty but also very reasonably price everywhere.

    Cagnes-sur- Mer is a thriving hub about 4 miles from Nice with train and bus connections to all the surrounding resorts and hill towns in the area. There are plenty of shops for food, a market and lots of restaurants. a free shuttle bus is available to take you to the hill village of Haut Cagnes, well worth a visit and there is also a free bus to the beach although lots of the local buses serve the beach too as well as it having its own station Cros de Cagnes. A ten minute walk brings you to the station.

    It is a town which combines the promenade ( tourist area ) and a working town with lots of shops, market and bus and train stations. The town provided easy access to Vence and Nice. Those interested in Art and History will be delighted with Renoir’s house and the Grimaldi Palace in Cagnes-sur-Mer. The Matisse Chapel ( Vence ) and lots of musee in Nice. All within 30 minutes by bus or train.

    Really nice location,close to the airport, the hotel is really convenient opposite the beach/seafront,where you see some lovely sunsets.     Perfect location, really close to the beach as well as places for grocery shopping and similar. The place was really tidy, well described in the add and had everything one could ask for in a flat for a vacation. If you like horse racing, make sure to check the programme for the Hippodrome! It is only 50 meters to the entrance of the beautiful Cote d'Azur-track! The best part of it all was the friendly contact with the people taking care of the place and the very lovely Mary who met us at the flat and gave us all the service needed!

While there were no cookies, chips, or typical snacks available, the staff kindly offered us some crunchy bread.
