Room was spacious and very clean. Country setting and gardens lovely and very quiet. An easy 10 minute walk or 2minute bicycle to Combourg. Lucine and Thibout were excellent hosts, friendly, helpful and caring. Breakfasts were excellent. Touring Brittany was easy from this central location and less expensive. Many signed trails for bicycle touring.

Our stay at Le Nid was absolutely great. We stayed there for 2 nights to be close to Mont St Michel. We highly recommend this accommodation to visitors touring this area. We would have liked to stay longer, since we found it was very close to many great Brittany sites. The gite was beautiful with highend and stylish appointments. It was light-filled during the day, very clean and the bed very comfortable. We had everything we needed to eat breakfast and small meals - a fabulous coffee maker, refrigerator, stovetop burner, toaster, teapot, and microwave. There is a little private patio behind the apartment with outdoor table. Although the exterior looks very rustic (which is the magical part), the interior was filled with comfort and thoughtful details. The owner greated us very cordially; she is a lovely person and was very helpful orienting us to the gite and surrounding area. The breakfasts were awesome - the owner made us a wonderful loaf of homebaked bread delivered hot, as well as crepes and plum cake for breakfast.

The property is amazing - I was travelling with my 5 year old and there was more to do then I had expected there is a major Dome waterpark style set up with wave pool and slides, there are several other outdoor pools a market and a really nice Chateaux that has country club vibes but it had one of the best meals I had during my stay in France. Definitely exceeded my expectations for the cost.

Very traditional accomodation that was ideal for the route we took whilst cycling in Brittany, this section along the river L’ille et Rance. Both hosts were very obliging and interesting plus provided a dinner & breakfast (for fee) which we appreciated. Comfortable room

Véronique was a fabulous host, we felt like at home, her delicious breakfast and eye to detail and her warm personality, deserve this positive note. We even ran out of clothes and did the laundry for us and we found clean clothes back in the closet the next day. The location for sightseeings and golf was perfect. Very peaceful area and we did slept well in our beautiful honeymoon room, it was elegant with spacious bathroom, everything clean and neat. Thank you.

    Lovely short stay village, the chateau was amazing and the staff, especially Julie,who had only recently started but her knowledge was 2nd to none . A lovely village setting with idyllic ancient and medieval look houses, some good restaurants, a stopover for two days will ensure a good walk around the lake,and a must do meal in restaurant du Lac.

    The hotel was nice and clean, the location is wonderful! Great views onto the lake and within walking distance of Combourg. The owner was very welcoming and accommodating. We had dinner at the restaurant, the food cooked by the owner's husband was delicious and of such high quality. We would definitely recommend stopping over, even if it's just at the restaurant. A place we'd all love to come back to.

    A lovely host, great vintage / antique interior and great crêpe breakfast. Location was great, in the Main Street of Combourg. The snooker table is fun and the outside area is good to read a book. We had a great time and would definitely book again one day!
