Beautiful town, folk very friendly considering it is a tourist town. Great for nearby walks, superb river swim spots nearby. Lots of choice for eating drinking chilling. Easily 10 nearby walks from town or using very cheap bus service up valley. Great info available at tourist office, ie detailed walks and maps. Plus mountainbiking up restonica valley. Corte is a good place to do some hiking as the mountains and hills are stunning. We found the people in Corte were not as friendly as other places in Corsica we visited- which does make a differnce! It has on-site parking which is a real bonus in central Corte. The hotel is located behind a restaurant and doesn't look much when you arrive, but the rooms are large, clean and comfortable and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Best of all, they were happy for us to leave our car in the car park after we checked out so we could do some hiking in the restonica gorge for a few hours before we left later in the day.Guest review byJonAustralia

We had been travelling for eight days in Corsica and came to walk and explore Corte. The property is directly beside the river, a bit out of town, but a fantastic location to chill and relax.
