The hosts at Oasis were absolutely amazing, so friendly and helpful. We could tell they truly care for their guests and do everything they can to make their stay comfortable and enjoyable. This location was easily walkable to downtown area with lots of shopping and food. The pool is beautiful and there are a lot of sitting areas on the property to sit and relax. We would highly recommend this stay!

Firstly, The receptionist named, FUENSANTA, she is delightful with a human touch!! She wears a smile in her face all the time; and she loves what she’s doing. Beautiful historic hotel and great facility with Spa, pool, golf and restaurant/cafe. The hotel is located at the hill overlooking Lake Geneva, wonderful views. It has a very nice spa and a nice indoor pool (a bit small) very clean . There is a vey nice main restaurant for breakfast/brunch and dinner. Also there's a bar menu that can be ordered until late. Room Service is great and the staff is very nice and helpful. We also used the baby center for our baby and they took very good care of the baby. Everyone we met was very nice, attentive and hospitable.

    It is a small city not much to do however, at night there is sometimes some animation like music. You can also cross the lake to go to Lausanne in Switzerland. You can organize a trip to Montreux where there is the jazz festival in July, I think. Evian les Bains downtown is very pretty. There is two bookstores and a couple of clothes stores. And a lot more of souvenir stores. But I think just the calm and the beauty of the lLeman lake will suffice to spend some good vacation with serenity.

    Evian is a gorgeous town, located on the south side of Lac Leman. Gorgeous views of both the lake and the mountains. Excellent opportunities to do nice walks or runs along the lake. Good selection of restaurants.

    Quiet village. Great if you love Golf. Otherwise there is not much to do or see. We went there for Golf but once that was done we spent our time going to other towns. Too quiet wouldn’t go there again .

    The location of the property was perfect!

    The location of the property was perfect! At the time Evian water museum was under renovation however you can still get the water in several locations! May be the most perfect water anywhere...the location is beautiful and locals very helpful and friendly. Would return at any time..

    I had 4 days at the end of my long vacation to choose a new...

    I had 4 days at the end of my long vacation to choose a new place close to Geneva airport to stay before heading home. There were a few options (Thonon, Gex, Lausanne) but I chose Evian for size (not to big) and proximity to Lake and Mountains. Lake Geneva is beautiful, especially on a sunny day and a great place to walk. There’s not a lot of shopping, so you wouldn’t come here to do that but there are enough restaurants and cafe’s for a short stay. There is also the Casino, Evian Spa and aquatic complex for people who are interested in those things. If you have a car it’s only 30mins to Abondance and 45 minutes to Morzine which are both cute mountain villages where you can do walks in the summer and skiing in the winter. This is also the home of Evian water so a little history to learn and explore. There is great local food products and wine. You can also take the ferry across the Lake to Lausanne to visit the Olympic Museum or visit the town itself. If you are heading to Geneva you should drop into the small historic town of Yvoire for a few hours and maybe have lunch at one of the several restaurants.

    Location! Couldn't ask for better. It was brilliant. Picture is from the street (Hotel du Palais is the blue hotel sign). Staff were very friendly and aimed to please at every interaction. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Yes they are dated and a bit tired in places but this is a budget hotel and the price for the rooms reflects this. Parking easy to access from the hotel and very secure. If returning to Evian - I would 100% stay here again!

    Clean and comfortable rooms in charming hotel in a very good location overlooking the lake. An easy 10 - 15 minute walk down the hill to the town and lakefront, but a bit more effort required on the way back! Swimming pool was a welcome extra. We only took breakfast on our final morning - very good and nice to enjoy it outside on the terrace overlooking the lake. Would stay again.
