Charming 19thC Chateau with pool and spa. I stayed in an apartment adjoining the main house which was spacious with every modern amenity and also spotlessly clean. I only stayed one night so I’m looking forward to returning hopefully for longer to enjoy the amenities and charm.

long story short, i booked this hastly after getting scammed in lyon from a misleading booking, so i left lyon to head for avignon and needed a place for the night. i got to the hotel fairly late, close to 10 pm is my guess. i called the host and she understood my situation and gave me all the details to get into the room. not only that, but she went out of her way to help me retrieve my water bottle that i had left behind in the lobby of the hotel, and i picked it up from the receptionist a few hours later. totally didn’t have to do that but wow! communication is 10/10. the place was perfectly clean as well!

Even though the neighborhood was safe and not run down, we were very happy with the security of the building and that the parking was gated. The property looks new-ish and the room was clean and new. It was nice to have a kitchenette with tableware and cooking ware included. The bathroom was nice. The room isn't as nice as a hotel room, but we liked it better because of the tile floors which are cleaner than carpeting. The large-tank water heater is in the bathroom which assured us we would have hot water for a shower. Nice, hot water.
