La Rosière
Featuring ski-to-door access, Residence Le Roc Noir is located in the centre of La Rosière ski station, in the international skiing resort of San Bernardo. Free WiFi is provided in the whole... Location is very good, you can ski right back to the hotel after a day on the slopes. It's great and convenient with ski locker, and supermarket and bakery is close by. They were very flexible on checkout, and we could just leave the keys as we had to depart very early in the morning. It's nice to have the option to use the pool and saunas, however it easily gets a bit crowded, and the pools are popular with the children, so not so peaceful :)

I would recommand la Rosière for a short stay if your looking for a village ambiance and beautiful snowy sceneries. The views are spectacular. There’s nice activities to do even if you don’t ski (we visited la Rosière during covid-19; ski slopes were closed). Lots of options to rent gear, shop and there’s a good size Carrefour for groceries as well as a caterer. Nice food at Le Comptoire! Everything is walking distance. The locals are very friendly and welcoming! All-around cozy and relaxed atmosphere.
La Rosiere is a very family friendly medium sized ski resort, if you include La Thuile. Ski runs are not particularly demanding but together with the Italian side provide 3-4 days of enjoyable skiing, assuming snow cover is good.
La Rosiere is definitely a family orientated resort. The skiing is absolutely amazing, with the option to ski across the border in to Italy. I’d highly recommend a trip to La Ros if you fancy exploring a range of pistes. The scenery is absolutely amazing. In terms of a night out, there isn’t really a great deal going on. There were only two bars that stay open late, which were Le Comptoir and another bar/club opposite. It only really seemed to be busy on nights when the seasonairs would come out. This suited us as we were out visiting my sister who is working a season. Moobar is a 15 minute walk from the main centre of La Rosière, in Les Eucherts. We walked down for an evening and had a really nice meal in one of the restaurants and then played bowling in the bar joined to it. After we went into Moobar, which was really nice and chilled at the time. Apparently it turns into a nightclub on some days. A free ski bus is provided around La Rosière and Les Eucherts for if the walk is a little far. Chair lifts are provided at both La Rosière and Les Eucherts. Overall I’d highly recommend this resort for families and avid skiers. However, if you really enjoy your apres ski, another resort that has more on offer in terms of bars and music may be best suited for you.
La Rosière is great for families. Good easy wide runs, not too crowded. Some good restaurants and a couple of mountain side places too. Beautiful alpine walk from LES Eucherts to La Ros. Would go again in a flash.
We were there the last week of August which, although very beautiful up there in the mountains, was mostly closed as it was the end of the summer season I suppose. Most of the restaurants were closed. The Carrefour supermarket wasn't great, little choice, expensive and poor quality of fresh produce - not sure if partly because of the end of season. Food wise it was all pretty disappointing. We'd had an active week the week before in Tignes and we were happy to lounge about in the lovely pool and sauna, use the gym, bit of mountain biking and walking. The apartments were fine and the views spectacular. The price was very good as it was the summer but I wouldn't have been happy paying 4/5 times as much for the ski season, the apartments are not top end but fine.
Very nice view for Western Alps and Bourg St. Maurice. Excellent recreation infrastructure. Nice subarrounding area. Maybe room toilet shall be a little bigger. Generally, such place is recommended for active peoles.
Friendly staff, great location, good food and hotel let us keep our motorcycle in the ski room overnight.room was comfortable and spacious which had amazing views.
