Located in the ski resort of La Rosiere, near the italian border, the hotel ILY Hotels La Rosiere offers accommodations in contemporary rooms and suites. The property is very well situated. The staff are super friendly and eager to please no matter what task is. This hotel is perfect for families looking for a skiing holiday. The rooms are modern, clean and a good size. Really a great hotel in the mountains, with really good people.

Hôtel Alparena & Spa has a restaurant, fitness center, a bar and shared lounge in La Rosière. With free WiFi, this 4-star hotel offers ski-to-door access and room service. Julien and Elizabeth are the best hosts I've ever seen. They make you feel like a king. Everything we needed was provided immediately. The rest of the staff is very well trained. They are easygoing and often have small talks that make you feel you are a part of their big family. The spa is incredible, much MUCH better than the pictures. My wife cried a couple times, of happiness. The restaurants aren't expensive although they provide an astounding level of food and drinks. The hotel facilities are luxurious, and I have no idea why it is ranked as 4 star. It is way better than most of the 5-star hotels I've seen.
Located on a hillside in the Tarentaise Valley, this hotel is just 14 mi from the Borg Saint-Maurice Train Station. Lovely family run hotel. Beautifully presented in classic alpine style. Very friendly and helpful. Wonderful south facing terrace for an evening cocktail and if the weather is bad a wonderful central wood burning fire. Lifts to all floors. Great boot room. Definitely going for a return visit next year.
Close to the Les Eucherts center and a 10-minute walk from the La Rosière village, this small chalet-hotel features rooms rooms with a view of the surrounding mountains. What not to like?! All was just amazing: the facilities, the quieteness, the comfort of the room and beds, the sauna and the super hosts that Mike & Faye are!
This residence offers spacious apartments with balconies, which can accommodate up to 16 people. It is at the foot of the ski slopes in Les Eucherts, overlooking the Tarentaise Valley. The location was just perfect. At the foot of the slopes and in the heart of all the restaurants and shops. Ski in and out and a room for ski storage. Very quiet at night very restful sleep.

If you take a skilift on top, you can take the best picture of Monblan, which looks really near! I've never seen it better. Otherwise, excellent ski slopes for all levels, really enjoyed our stay.
I would recommand la Rosière for a short stay if your looking for a village ambiance and beautiful snowy sceneries. The views are spectacular. There’s nice activities to do even if you don’t ski (we visited la Rosière during covid-19; ski slopes were closed). Lots of options to rent gear, shop and there’s a good size Carrefour for groceries as well as a caterer. Nice food at Le Comptoire! Everything is walking distance. The locals are very friendly and welcoming! All-around cozy and relaxed atmosphere.
La Rosiere is a very family friendly medium sized ski resort, if you include La Thuile. Ski runs are not particularly demanding but together with the Italian side provide 3-4 days of enjoyable skiing, assuming snow cover is good.
La Rosiere is definitely a family orientated resort. The skiing is absolutely amazing, with the option to ski across the border in to Italy. I’d highly recommend a trip to La Ros if you fancy exploring a range of pistes. The scenery is absolutely amazing. In terms of a night out, there isn’t really a great deal going on. There were only two bars that stay open late, which were Le Comptoir and another bar/club opposite. It only really seemed to be busy on nights when the seasonairs would come out. This suited us as we were out visiting my sister who is working a season. Moobar is a 15 minute walk from the main centre of La Rosière, in Les Eucherts. We walked down for an evening and had a really nice meal in one of the restaurants and then played bowling in the bar joined to it. After we went into Moobar, which was really nice and chilled at the time. Apparently it turns into a nightclub on some days. A free ski bus is provided around La Rosière and Les Eucherts for if the walk is a little far. Chair lifts are provided at both La Rosière and Les Eucherts. Overall I’d highly recommend this resort for families and avid skiers. However, if you really enjoy your apres ski, another resort that has more on offer in terms of bars and music may be best suited for you.
La Rosière is great for families. Good easy wide runs, not too crowded. Some good restaurants and a couple of mountain side places too. Beautiful alpine walk from LES Eucherts to La Ros. Would go again in a flash.
The hotel is brilliant just as it looks on the photos I loved that you could ski straight from the hotel the staff helpful and friendly the breakfast lovely and catered for everyone
