Located in a very pretty small town, the hotel was welcoming and comfortable with good facilities. The set menus are good value especially the lower-priced menu. We were able to park our motorbikes in the hotel's secure garage which is a real bonus.

In a romantic and enchanting setting, the 15th century castle is surrounded by broad moats home to wild ducks, herons and swans. We had the place to ourselves which was great, lovely grounds to explore and just take in / relax in. Great breakfast!

It was brought to our comfortable room because it was too damp to have breakfast by the pool. We were made so welcome when we arrived and given helpful advice on a location nearby of a lovely bistro which served us a great meal and was excellent value for money. We have two dogs and these too we made welcome by our hosts, a lovely couple who also spoke some English.
