Lamballe is a small town, probably not on most people's itineraries, but is well worth stopping to savour this fascinating little town: it has a river, church on a spectacular hill, an old market place with a fun thriving market (when I was there). Really pretty medieval town.
Really pretty medieval town. All very walkable if you are centrally placed. Good market , the `Haras` national studd , museum Mehuet and good bars and restos ( not always open all week, so check) . Not far to Dinan , Dinard and the coast . One can`t pick ones fellow guests though! Ours were rather noisy on their terrasse and filled our room with smoke if we left our windows open . The property felt very rural and quiet and yet only a 3 minute drive from the pretty town of Lamballe. The wooden caravan was spotlessly clear and very comfortable with a surprisingly good shower! It might be a bit cramped for a longer stay as the indoor living space is small (as you’d expect!!). Lots of fun for a short stay. Excellent continental breakfast.
